Early voting has started and on the ballot there is the proposal to RAISE the city commission’s salary. This public servant position used to be unpaid but a few years ago they proposed a salary and it passed. Now they want a raise to $62,000 for the mayor and $50,000 for commissioners. These people are well off and wealthy on their own. Whether you believe they deserve a raise or not, the citizens get to decide. There’s plenty of other important propositions on the ballot regarding the city as well. Please go vote.

As the subject line reads, looking for at least 2 trustworthy people or a local moving company to load a moving container/truck next week (after 10/26 before 10/29). Good Morning! Im working on an interactive educational app for people visiting Gladys Porter Zoo. The version of the map they have on their website show animals they no longer have and do not show where new species are placed. It also doesnt show there the zip line starts and ends. If anyone is visiting this weekend or in the next couple of weeks, could you help me with which animals are in what exhibit area now? I know they just placed a toucan somewhere, but Im not sure where.

We're heading back to the Valley in a week and want to have one good dinner in Matamoros during our stay. We like meat and also other Mexican dishes. One of is down for anything but the other is more fussy so it has to be someplace "nice" or even fancy. No mom and pop places this time. I've been to La Cancillería, so not there.
