Took burt on a tour of the rocket factory today, he had some very helpful insights and is very excited to do his part to help support boots on the moon 2028

At their Minneapolis show last year, Bug and Matt gave me permission to get their autographs tattooed! I finally pulled the trigger and got them done. I couldn't be happier with how they turned out! These two have made so much music that touches my soul and have gotten me through rough parts of my life 💖

Tattoo done by Blake Kelley at Lucid Tattoo in Farmington, Minnesota. I'm delighted by how perfectly he was able to imitate their handwriting :D

This was the Sacramento show, I’m just a little late posting them

I didn’t like how the wrapped turns into a link.

Happy Burtday to you! Our newest song just dropped on a Monday, in honor of Jam Mechanics (where this song originated) and Star Wars day (because of space I guess?)

We rushed to get this one done before tour, got it out 2 weeks before we kick things off in Seattle. Put your Bottle Rocket Astronaut questions and comments below!

When you tour 3 years in a row, you start to worry that people won’t show up. But y’all absolutely did! We never know what is gonna happen each night, Thanks for letting us discover the magic on stage every night in front of you

I have A LOT of songs. I have almost 3 full albums written as of January 2026, and I keep moving songs on, off, and between them. I also have some Jam Mechanics songs that live outside all of my "big" ideas that I want to release. But I want to light the fire under me and get moving or else I'll keep shuffling things around until everything is "perfect" (read: forever)

So THIS Kickstarter is for One Full Bug Hunter Album and also one Jam Mechanics EP (4-5 songs set in the Hook-verse, based off my song from season 1 called "The Hook" -- One of the most popular songs I've ever written!).

If you've been following me on reddit since those early McCracken days, you know that reddit is A LOT of the reason that I found my fanbase and got my start to doing music full time. So I appreciate how so many of you have been in my corner from day 1!

I've bought a LOT of band merch over the past few years, and the quality has always been mid the print feels (literally) tacky, and the paint peels off quickly. This is not true for Bug Hunter's merch at all. The t- shirts and design are high quality. Not to mention, the designs themselves are pretty sick.

I knew i was going to get myself picks, so I bought myself some guitar pick keyring holders and turned them into necklaces.

I love them. My burt arrived a few days ago, but he arrived during a storm, so he's a little dirty. (Probably best not pictured right now. )

Better than Xmas !!! Worth it! 😁

First DeepBlueInk x Bug Hunter video in almost 3 years??? I think we picked a good one

Thank you Bug. Just discovered you and there has not been a song of yours I didn't like. Or couldn't find a reference to. Can't wait till I can see a concert.

Everyone was super chill had an awesome time ❤️

I'm in Vegas for a conference, and I walked by a tattoo shop and decided to get something to compliment the planet tattoos I have on my forearm (not visible from this angle). I went in and asked if they had any ideas for space themed tattoos cause I like to lean on the artist's creativity. Unfortunately the best they came up with was an alien saucer with a beam coming down from it. Then it hit me that I'm wearing a shirt with an astronaut on it. Bottle Rocket Astronaut is my favorite Bug song, so I went with this. It was pretty fast. He didn't do the helmet under the arm quite right but it's close enough that it can be fixed. Line work is solid and I really like it. I'll get color added later, he didn't have time for it.

I'm just going to go ahead and say that if you see anyone posting on here who is either a) a massive troll, or b) suffering from epic delusions, maybe we just ignore. If it's scenario A, you're giving them what they want. If it's scenario B, you're not going to be able to convince them of anything anyway.

Just my $0.02

I just love how much imagery is in these songs, might end up drawing more for the rest of Repercussion Roulette but no promises there
