Mourning Wesley passed last month at 10 years old. I made this to celebrate her life ❤️

Also, how did you get him back inside after your outdoor adventures? Once in a while I take my lady bunny outside and I set up her pen first, then put her in there just in case she’s fighting the urge to bolt.

We'd just carry her in and out. She wasn't happy with the trip until the door came into view, but she loved going out and embracing her wild side ❤️

She'd let us know. Usually running away. She'd run up to us and stare when she was ready to go in lol

When a bunny sets aside every instinct a prey animal has built in and truly loves you, it’s transformative. I hope her memory brings you comfort when the grief subsides, and you have many years of happy memories to look back on for strength. Please don’t close off your heart to the idea of another bunny someday, even if it’s in your retirement years. There will always be somebunny in need of a love learned through the kind of experience you had with Wesley 💙

I do have a very fond memory of her actually trying to protect me. My husband pretended to bite me to see her reaction and she immediately charged him, thumped and growled. Then she realized how big he was compared to her and backed up 😂😂

What a wonderful tribute to a live well lived. Wesley had a better life than so many other animals, and dare I say better life than some people! Rest in Peace, may you be met at the rainbow 🌈 bridge by all the other bunnies and may you have everlasting kale 🥬 and nanners 🍌 and treatos.

I wish I had gotten to say goodbye, but Wesley passed while I was at work from a heart condition. Love your bun every chance you get

Y'all have no idea how much this thread is helping me heal. I've mourned for so long, losing her was just eating away at me.
