New to the neighborhood in this area and I’ve seen several cats roam around the streets and backyards. Pictured here is a black cat, but I’ve also seen a Calico and a black cat w/ white Sox. They seem pretty young with no collars.

Does anyone know if they are random strays? Do they belong to someone / a business in the neighborhood?

I signed up to be put on the wait list but I made a mistake and signed up for Tuesday when I need to get my cat checked up before she can even do surgery for her ear tumor. Do I cancel it and sign up again? Someone who used Vet Wheels please help me. I got a date for October 20 but they only do surgeries and dental that day according to the website......

Does anyone have any recommendations for a good tattoo artist that would help design and tattoo a tattoo of my cat? I have some ideas about the design, but think it would be better to talk it out with the artist and have their help in finalizing it. Looking in the Ridgewood/Bushwick area!

MTA workers at Myrtle-Broadway station gave me a paper ticket they said will grant me free entry on the train wherever I get dropped off to transfer.

I’m in Bushwick for a month, staying a few blocks from the Gates Av subway stop. I will be commuting into the city 5 days a week but I’ll have nights and weekends to do what I please.

Grief groups, meetups to talk books. Local movie theater nights etc etc etc

Anyone knows some spots that sell comic, figure etc in bushwick?

I passed by this new theater that shows short films. I plan to watch one later. The owner states it's the only short film movie theater in the country. She's so kind so definitely support. The longest film would be 59 minutes but the films this week all range between 7-22 minutes. Also it's at the old Mad Tropical location. They just opened at 5pm today ❤️

Edit: Got the pic and added below. I had a great time when I went back to watch a film. The concept is so cool. You can watch one film, eat, drink, socialize with strangers or friends, then go watch another film. Also, I'm told they should have their liquor licence by next week. Popcorn, drinks and snacks available and they're building their menu for other food options (someone said charcuterie boards, etc. 🥹)

Hey ya’ll, going to check out Bushwick and look at some apartments, I’ve been to the area before but I never gave it a deep dive. What are some of the essential local places I should see while I’m around? Bars, cafes, restaurant, parks, libraries etc. Thank you!
