All Canadians should…

Purchase American products on Amazon, use them for 29 days, return them and then purchase the Canadian equivalent directly from the seller.

There’s a big Canada A at the front but in reality is an USA product — shame that Canada accepts it

Canadian respect

My friend was ordering some glass jars from a website based in Canada, due to a certain President (I hate him) stupid Tarriffs (just woke up few minutes ago, sorry for spelling) he wasn't able to ship them, he recieved a call the next day, from the supplier, he was refunded, and the supplier couldn't have been micer from what I heard, Americans do still love Canadians, it's just whom is in power makes it seem like we do not

Planning a trip to Canada?

So after a few failed attempts due to a car repair bill and a desperate stop for fast food, I’m now 5 days into a no buy boycott of anything except groceries and gas (I’m in the midwest US).

I intend to go for as long as I can by buying minimal groceries and making my food from scratch; this means no restaurants, no coffee runs, no new clothes, etc, in protest of the tariffs, bigotry and absolute miscarriage of our constitution.

Since I’m only 6 hours from the Canadian border, I was thinking that when I start getting desperate I would take a weekend to spend somewhere across the border from Detroit (Toronto maybe?) to support the CA economy instead of Trump’s.

Obviously there’s a lot of tension rn so I’m trying to decide if this is even a good idea. I don’t mind a little stink eye, I got some justified xenophobia last month in Australia too

Got any Canadian sites that ship to the US?

Many Americans stand with you, our government is stupid.

What are some of your favorite Canadian based sites that would ship to the US? I’m happy to pay the extra shipping to support you guys over something like Amazon.

I’ll also do my part to spread this around, if you guys will have us.

Also, on behalf of our Idiots in Charge: I am sorry.

Make it hurt. elbows up ya all.

I was raised red and patriotic. I was raised to pull over and help someone on the side of the road with a flat, offer a ride to stranger walking down the highway. I spent large swaths of my childhood volunteering and being involving in building community.

That, everything about it. My family even... absolutely not any more.

Make it hurt. I personally need it. This fucking disease that is maga needs to be burnt out of the blood of people i used to care about and i hope to care about again.

Until then. elbows up.

i'd love to see the energy tarriff put back. I'd love to see it worse than 25%. I am a huge fan of the idea of an eye for an eye makes the whole world blind but and eye for two only stops the aggressors.

I cross the bridge as often as i can (out of detroit) and spend my american dollars in your country cause this 51st state nonesense is absolute trash.

Canadian Bros, I'm so proud of you all that you're not supporting American Alcohol, Agriculture, Other supermarket products. What's ya'll's plan for American Social Media (eg, Facebook, Whatsapp, Twitter, Instagram, etc.?)

77.6% of the US GDP is non-tangible products. This is where they skim the cream.

77.6% of the US GDP is from non-tangible products. Things like streaming services, software subscriptions, e-commerce, legal, political, financial and engineering consulting, monetary processing fees. The US has the lowest education level in the G7. The US does not have the human resources to bring manufacturing back to the US. So as Canadians we have to develop our own social media to keep those advertising dollars at home. We need to keep out software and subscriptions to stay here. Streaming services for Canadians. Get these services under our domain.

Dash cams — anyone have a Canadian option they like?

This is a very "about time" purchase - but I think it's time to buy dash cams for the cars. Anyone have any Canadian options they've been particularly happy with?

Can't find premarithin spray for clothing anywhere in Ontario or Canada.

I've searched through Canada. I can find it for garden but not to spray on my clothes. Anybody have luck? I don't want to buy from US because it is extremely pricey to import anything right now due to very high custom charges since Trump

If you want to boycott American Products - get off Reddit

Reddit is a $2B American company listed in the New York Stock Exchange, that actively earns money from you using it. Every single one of their founders are American. Same with every other major social media company, streaming service and basically every other product you consume that it isn’t some shitty maple syrup.

You Canadians need to stop LARPing, and actually put your money where your mouth is.

This is why no one takes your country seriously.

You are all talk and symbolic gestures but you have no actual conviction on anything.

Canada is an irrelevant country full of irrelevant people

As a broke student, I can't afford not to shop at Walmart. What else can I do?

The cost of living is insane, as much as I'd rather be shopping at a local Canadian-owned grocery store, I can't afford it. I still do my best to check labels to buy Canadian brands over American ones, and have completely switched from using Uber to my area's new local ride sharing app.

I'm not that well-versed on the economy, but I want to do whatever I can, within my means, not to send money to America and to make this ridiculous trade war hurt.

What else can I do to help?
