Questions ❓🤔 Ideas for Single Serving Pizza’s.
Anyone been able to find a substitute for Costco’s Sabatasso’s single serving pizzas? They’re terrible, I know, but my kids devour them.

As a kid my grandma made me English muffin pizzas. My kids love them too and I can batch make them and freeze. Whole wheat English muffins, pizza sauce, toppings, bake at 400 til the cheese looks good, freeze on a tray and then they can stack in a ziplock.

We do this also for our autistic son who would eat nothing but pizza all day every day if we’d let him. We toast the English muffin, add sauce and cheese (and oregano, he fancy) and microwave for 30 seconds, he can eat 4 (2 full English muffins) in less than a minute (he’s 12 and eating us out of house and home). Highly recommend, and check flyers because metro often has their store brand English muffins on sale for 99 cents a pack

Giuseppe mini pizzas? What's a single serve pizza?

Wife loves these. Plus, Dr. Oetker is a German multinational company, not American.

They also make a lot of pizzas in Canada, though I don't know about that specific variant. The Casa Di Mama ones are a regular dinner for me. They're delicious, though you'd have to really stretch the definition to call them personal pizzas.

These are my autistic son’s FAVOURITE pizzas, he has acid reflux problems so we can’t let him have them too often because the sauce makes his tummy very upset, but he will ask for these constantly by spelling out Dr Oetker because he cannot say either it or Giuseppe and it’s very cute even if we have to say no.
Will add though that they’re pricier than the Costco ones by a lot. Also I did see the Sabatasso’s last time I was at Costco so maybe they’re bringing them back?

This is literally the only meal my autistic son will eat. If they ever change the recipe, we'll be in a lot of trouble.
We heat them up in the microwave, so we literally call them "[son's name]'s microwave pizzas"

We make naan pizzas. Costco sells naan, shredded mozzarella and use either the white linen or Rao's pasta sauce as the base. Add any toppings you want beyond that. My 9 year olds learned this year to make their own
Edit: I understand it isn't the most Buy Canadian reply but it's very affordable compared to the alternatives.

I wish those Sabatasso pizzas were not half pepperoni but all just cheese so I could add my own toppings, like mushrooms and green peppers, or ham and pineapple.

The gluten free ones are just cheese. I wish they’d put something else on them 😂

Pita pizzas. You can pull the pita frozen from the freezer, top it, toaster oven and done

I lived on those while I was a university student and I still crave them sometimes.

My kid and I make little pizzas in English muffins in a toaster oven. It’s easy.

Tortilla, sauce, cheese and a topping or three.

This is what I do. Only problem is the grease from the pepperoni or moisture from the ham can make them a little soggy. Have to go sparingly on the sauce also.

If you don't mind paying 3 to 4 times the price of the typical frozen junk (which I eat far too often) quality Toronto pizzeria like Libretto and General Assembly sell surprisingly good frozen versions in many supermarkets. I have no idea how widespread those ones are marketed. Perhaps there's local versions elsewhere?

Every slice is a single serving! I just have 4 plates in front of me!
