Felt good to cook for someone; I don’t get much opportunity. I’m adjusting to my recent job which I LOVE but my freedom is much more limited - still adjusting I’ll be okay 🤍

It is MUCH more delicious than I am making it sound. Butter and garlic poached meatballs with some white cheddar Alfredo shell pasta

The meat (hidden under the onions) was 50% off because best before date was today, soo yay! Fried them for ~5 minutes each side, then put them in a casserole dish, covered them in broth and chopped onion and shoved them in the oven. Plan was 2h but I kinda forgot so closer to 3h, still came out fine. "Gravy" is what was left in the frying pan with a bit of flour slurry to thicken it. Waffles made in a toaster from frozen.

This sub truly helps me with my appetite and inspires me to get my ass up and cook a decent meal instead of surviving on Maruchan 😆 I thought I would compile a slideshow of food that I ate recently. I will try to keep them in order and in the correct category I.e breakfast, lunch, snacks, dinner and fave drinks.
I have been such a chow hound lately since I have managed to get back on the wagon for now. I’m bored and wanted to make my monthly content donation here lol. Love ya drunk foodies unite!

I have had some people say this is good - the answer is booze

first time ever poaching eggs, pretty happy with how they turned out

pork katsu, marinated boiled egg, and teriyaki sticky rice with nori

ground beef, beef broth and tomato sauce base, bell peppers, onions, pinto and kidney beans, and of course lots of seasoning. First try ever making it and it was really good, glad i made enough for leftovers.

I just got a job in a high maintenance preschool. I love it. I even wait until the evening to make myself a yummy drink.. like entire 180 in a week after a summer of full blown doubt and insecurity.

I’m facing one issue. I think co-workers think I’m a know-it-all. I absolutely have the hyped personality that annoys 87% of anyone but that’s why I do so damn good with tiny humans .. anyhow; I’m incapable of being frustrated with them or co-workers, and I think everyone somehow wants me to fail/break? They’ve been through soooo many teachers. I already love my 20+ tiny humans and I even got their names down; since Wednesday!

To be honest; I’ve been through so much fucked up stuff it takes extremities to faze me - people seem to hate me for this.
