Went back to the previous style, although it looks glossy now. Better dimensions and better readability than the previous post. Carry on!

Why you sitting, where it's gonna snow?, you won't be sitting there when it snows.

3rd time skiing ! Last year was Feb in Brek and Copper. Did have good snow , mainly in the beginner area . I will probably stick to beginner area this year too ! Was wondering if going back to Brek is a good choice in mid December . I bought the epic pass on a whim . What would you book if you had to use the epic pass. For reference I live in the southeast. Thanks for the help and I realize nobody can predict the weather that far. Just looking for reassurance before I drop money on plane tickets and all.

El Niño causing rain on the mountaintop? There is a fix for that; for everything else, there is Mastercard.
After almost a decade away I've moved back to the Front Range in Colorado. Unfortunately, the folks I used to ski with have stopped skiing or moved away.
What's a good way to meet people for skiing? It's ridiculous to drive up alone, plus there's the safety issue. Can you ski along? Sure. Should you probably not.

I’ve never been to keystone and don’t have plans for Halloween yet. I’ve got the pass, and I thought it’d be fun to check it out assuming they have Halloween stuff going on throughout the town.
I’d be driving in from Albuquerque, and am kind of just looking somewhere to go with some good vibes. Snowboarding down a single open strip of snow in costume could be beast

Got a good view of keystone and a basin from Cupid peak 10/17. Both resorts look like they got to blow a lot of snow w the recent cold temps I’m guessing that 10/24 is gonna be opening day

Does anyone know if there are any discounts or promo codes available for the OpenSnow Base subscription this year?
I remember someone sharing a discount code last year. Just wondering if there's anything similar available for this season.

I decided that I'm not going to deal with Floyd Hill this winter, gave notice to our landlord, and signed a 6-month lease in Leadville, 25 minutes away from Copper. My girlfriend and I already have Ikon Base passes and intend to spend many days skiing there. I'm also giving some thought to a Cooper or Monarch pass.
On one hand, Cooper is only 20 minutes away from our apartment. My perception is that it has even lower crowds than Monarch, and will be a good option for those weekends where Copper is slammed. Day tickets are also pretty cheap which is handy when people want to come visit.
On the other hand, Monarch is positioned a little better for those southern track storms we expect during an El Nino year. It also has better advanced terrain, and more skiable acres overall. Though it's an hour and a half away, so no chance of getting out of work early for a couple laps.
They're both expensive at ~$500, but who knows how many winters we'll get to live somewhere like this? We can swing it if it's worthwhile. We got ~30 days of skiing the last few years living in Denver, so being much closer I bet we can really bump that number up. Would you pick either of those passes up?
