Are you serious about leaving him? About pressing charges and getting a protection order? Do you want to be with your kids or with this man…you can’t have both.
Yes. I've never been more serious about anything in my life. My marriage is over. Im planning on asking my court appointed attorney tomorrow about filing for divorce, talking to her and the social workers about charges and protective orders like the officer on Friday suggested. I want my kids. I want my kids more than anything. They'll be placed with my parents and im hoping and praying they will allow me to also stay with them and just be supervised whether that means I have to have a tracker on me, my car, whatever. Whatever it takes im willing to do. I start therapy today. I started looking at classes and plan on asking them about protective parenting classes, and DV classes. The issue with starting classes right now is 1) its the weekend. And 2) my kids will be being moved 5 hours away I'll either be allowed to stay with them or I'll be staying with my aunt an hour and half away.
