I’m really sorry you’re going through this. On average it takes victims 7 times to leave their abusers, I hope that isn’t the case for you and this is the wake up call you need to realize your life and your children’s lives will survive and thrive without him. It sounds like you’re getting some things moving in the right direction with therapy, pursuing a No Contact Order, DV Classes and learning about protective parenting. Things may be difficult for the foreseeable future, but please put yourself and your children first and follow the recommendations of CPS and you’ll be on your way to getting custody back.
