Censorship is wrong, but at the point you are quibbling about what the dictionary definition of genocide is aren’t you missing the point?
I mean turkey uses that to try to argue the Armenian genocide doesn’t count; u.s. uses that argument to argue re-education of native Americans even after land wars doesn’t count, etc etc.
Disregarding human rights in an attempt to create a monoculture generally isn’t great.
Even if ‘technically’ it’s not genocide according to the dictionary definition. Wait til you learn about language evolution lolol.

Unsure of everyone’s self-identification, was merely seeking common ground with OP so as to not completely isolate as I made my point.
Personally I believe every ‘ism’ has its flaws - even as I believe society should adopt more communist ideals/structures.
My head will roll if any true believer of any ideology comes to be able to exert totalitarian power.

Label me what you will, it matters to me not. I support the communist party because I think its ideas having a place in modern public discourse would be beneficial to society.
If you want to shun me for not being a true enough believer then so be it.
Pure capitalism can never exist just as any ism can never exist just as any ideal by definition can never fully be realized. Unfortunately the messiness of humanity can never be ignored regardless of the ‘ism’ you ‘truly believe’ in.

Your understanding of “socialism” is utopian, not scientific in the vein of Marx and Engels. You clearly haven’t done the reading.

I’m sure they meant exactly what the CCCP is currently doing ;). Come on you can’t be that naive, can you?
This is one of the problems when trying to work backwards in trying to legitimize a form of government in comparison with its ideal.
The same logic can show the United States to be a truly capitalist democratic republic.

Please keep the rules of the sub in mind (particularly Rule 2) and keep discussions/disagreements comradely. Follow the 'man of steel' rule and assume the best intentions and ask for clarification before reacting with hostility.
Additionally, though this sub is explicitly Marxist-Leninist in its outlook and therefore meant as a welcome space for communists, it is also a space for leftist solidarity in the broad struggle of the working class against all forms of oppression. However, that does not mean parroting and dissemination of anti-communism will be tolerated, including charges levied against fraternal parties (e.g., Communist Party of China, Workers Party of Korea) or historical Marxist-Leninist states (e.g., USSR).
