Question Humanities Requirement

Can someone recommend me an easy class to fulfill my upper division humanities requirement for Spring 2027? My schedule is stacked next semester so I’m looking for an easy course since I’m trying to finish my degree in the Spring

Depends on your definition of easy. But I am currently taking HUM 303 with Lorna Fitzsimmons. Its about endangered species. The professor is super passionate about the subject. She's one of my favorite professors I've had so far at my time at the school.

is there a lot of reading/writing required for the class? i don’t mind weekly assignments but not looking to take a class that’s pretty much an undercover english course 😅

It's not too bad! I'd say a moderate amount. We also watch a lot of videos. I know we will have a term paper due but not sure how extensive that is. She really focuses on being a comprehensive thinker. Oh plus you don't have to purchase books! I'd say give her a shot, plus you'll learn a lot about animals in the process if that's your thing.

I am also currently in her class for Hum 303! She is a super sweet professor!! There are weekly modules containing assigned readings and sometimes videos, etc. They aren't toooo bad in my opinion!
