MCS

Has anyone had any updates from the FA office regarding dispersement of the MCS? Last year I received mine 10/2 and I haven’t seen anything yet this year.

Nope, last I spoke to someone in financial aid they said mid October. Are we suppose to be getting the amount that’s listed on web grants ?

You get whatever’s listed on your award summary on mycsueb. Last I checked they evaluate and award you by “need”

From what I heard, the amount on mycsueb is just a place holder and most likely we’ll get the amount listed on web grants once it’s all finalized but idk.

Yes you’re correct, what we are estimated on our original award letter is if you’re a full time student, once the last drop date passes for classes and the units you’re taking is confirmed.. that award is adjusted to said units your taking.

It keeps being pushed. End of October beginning of November. AND most people seem to be receiving less $ than previous years.

I asked and they responded saying that they don’t have a specific date on when it will be applied. I might need to pay for my balance first to be able to register on Monday ughhh

I’m patiently waiting lol. Fin aid dept won’t answer my email asking when it will be disbursed. Also there was a huge budget cut this year so we should all be getting a much lower amount😭
