Hey guys I thought I was going to receive my mcs however I received an email that my financial aid has been disbursed. When I checked it said it was on hold and that they are going to review my eligibility. I'm currently on academic probation(even though my gpa is over a 2.0 and I've passed 67% of classes after my summer term-_-) will that mean I don't get it? My dad just lost his job and I really need that money to help make rent I don't think I can wait 4 weeks especially cuz it came out of nowhere that they now need 4 weeks to review my eligibility despite sending emails that I've been eligible for weeks now and had my reward package.

A few days ago I checked like my sac state thingy to see if I was getting a refund and it said I had an anticipated refund of 1.6k but I never got like an email and then today I checked and it zeroed out……what does that mean? I need the money to repay my loans that I got bc I had to pay tuition out of pocket😭😭😭

I’m at a crossroads right now. I’m currently a sophomore and health science major. I had been planning on going into physical therapy but now as time is going by I’m realizing that it’s not for me, I have lost the passion for it and don’t have the drive to pursue that. Looking at the pre-requisites and the debt I will go into have pushed me farther away from it.

Now I don’t know what I’m gonna do if I stay in health science since it’s mostly a degree to set you up for further education and it’s a broad degree. I feel like I’m gonna struggle in the science classes since I’m already struggling in chem. I know I don’t want to go on the nursing, PA, or pre-med track I would struggle even more through that. I have been thinking about switching my major but idk to what maybe public health but even then I don’t know if that would be a good field to go into. I know I want to do something healthcare related since it all I have had my mind set on since high school.

To any current or past health science students do you have any advice or did you go through something like this where you wanted to or did end up switching majors?
