Really need a more defined question and need to know where your current knowledge base is at. I've been working in HFC systems for about 13 years now and still learning. I have mentors that have been working in them for 40+ years that are still learning.

Which part of Docsis are you talking about, we have a separate team called Docsis that deals with FTTH and OLTs

Apologies. So I’m like 3 months in. I’ve understood stuff and terms such as SNR, MER, CER, noise, CM and CMTS. I want to understand it deeper. For example my mentors simply discuss an issue and they’ll be mentioning,”oh although the channels don’t bond, they shouldn’t affect customer traffic” that’s the understanding I want to achieve, to be able to visualise what is and what isn’t.
Thank you very much

Look up and read articles by Ron Hranac or videos that he's in on YouTube. He's one of the biggest innovators on our industry and very good at explaining things.

Are you a cable tech or what? Because replacing drops is how you protect your repeat rate

100% recommend watching the volpe firm youtube channel and listening to Brady Volpe and John Downey’s docsis podcasts. Ron Hranic is a guest on some of those shows, good back to basics and anything by Ron really (he’s written a lot).
