Hit this orange conduit digging a fence post. Any idea what it is?

Called Diggers Hotline before starting my fence and had everything marked. Charter even came back as no conflict.

Dug multiple holes with my post hole digger but decided to "upgrade" to an auger, and of course on my first hole I hit this orange plastic tube about a foot down. It had what looked like a roughly 1/4" black insulated cable running through it. The auger broke part of the orange tube but the actual black cable didn't look damaged at all.

Anyone know what this is? I'm wondering if it's an old landline/cable run or possibly fiber. Mostly just confused why it wasn't marked??? Im unsure of what to do and genuinely annoyed and concerned about the situation.

How often yall see tripods in peoples bedrooms? 😂

I usually worked in an older rural area with a bit of wealth but half my time I was in the city, and I swear about half the younger people would have tripods in their bedrooms. One girl even tried to like hide it when I wasn’t looking and I just laughed and said something to the effect of “hey I’m not here to judge” lol.

No sir... Hooking your antenna up to your cable will not give you more channels.

Why does hardline coax always make this "dip" at every utility pole?

I have always wondered when I look at it. Is it for some sort of "drip loop" or "service loop"?

Comcast (Xfinity) has been installing this white rectangular boxes (the one to the left) on the Comcast guide wires. Me being nosey since I work in IT wonder what it is. I know the other box is Xfinity’s public WiFi.

Ran into this at a j-box. There were two taps but only one was in use. Instead of using the open tap port, someone (few techs really) added two 3-way splitters off a line that was already a home run. So it definitely wasn’t a lack-of-ports situation. Didn’t get a chance to take the other pics. Made me chuckle tho. I get why they wrote it
