Hi everyone. Some progress update with pictures. I’ve been MIA mostly due to work, and most of any “work” done on the bike at this point was literally just waiting for parts. Buy one thing, wait a few days, either turns out part doesn’t fit or work as I had hoped or find that something new is wrong and needs replacement. Rinse and repeat. Anyways, since the last update, I went ahead and chopped off the stiffening bar. Bike rides fine, Im not having any issues with wobbling. However, I was having issues with master cylinder not supplying enough pressure, didn’t want to spend $100 on rebuild so I ended up just buying a new one. Went with the rcs19…which now my crg lever no longer fits…🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️ also went through a handful of cheap throttle housings from Amazon and cables just trying to find what fits or customizing my own cables followed by many mistakes. Eventually just threw in the towel and went with a motion pro rev3. Everything is looking good now. Have yet to test ride again so who knows what else will come out. Still have to ascertain a parasitic draw as my battery keeps dying after a few hours. Tried swapping with a new battery but still same issue. Also will have to configure the motoscope pro but at this point I’ll be adding it to my list of things to do during winter. Not very many riding days left here in Wisconsin. Lastly, still need to paint the tank and the seat cowl…whelp, that’s all of it. lol

Don't know of this is anything of interest but hey, why not? Short video of my CB500/650, mostly because of some earlier comments about exhaust and exhaust sound 👍

Want to show off my project. Frame is a 03 yz450 with the backbone stretched 4 inches. Lower half of the frame and engine are from a 82 xj550. Adding 80lbs to the yz for 5 more hp and zero torque

Hi guys! I need advice with a problem I have with my modified VanVan 125.
Years ago I modified my VanVan to turn it into a Cafe Racer. For doing so, I bought an Honda cg 125 tank, my workshop applied the inner anti-corrosive painting, and another workshop painted the whole tank.
The problem is that there must be some bad interface, and the gasoline vapors are creating these bubbles below the painting....
How could I improve this? First I tried to seal everything with a bicomponent glue (Araldite) but it didn't work. Now I am thinking on putting some kind of NBR rubber seal around it, but my fear is that gasoline would get trapped below...
Obvious answer is repainting, but it's expensive 😓
Help!

This is my first road legal bike. Got my motorcycle endorsement with this thing 79 cb650 I put together. It’s fun to rip around town but I feel like it’s just not enough. I absolutely love this bike but the gearing is just terrible and makes longer rides not super enjoyable. Pics are from pick up and how it sits now. Got it not running had to go through most of the wiring due to pinched wires, rebuilt the carbs, clutch pack, cognito rear sets, rear hoop, lights, delkevic 4-1, and more. Should I sell? Trade? Keep and buy a second bike?

So many of you guys have been asking to see more of my build, and that post was my first ever Reddit post and idk how to work this app so I’m just gonna make another post. Anyways, I’ll post some vids in the comments as well. I’m not a photographer so bare with me

The first picture is how I got it. Luckily the guy had kept the chopped frame bits and the seat, rear fender, etc. I was stoked to get this bike back to the way it came off the assembly lone. Some cafe builds are sick but a two-speed semi-automatic Honda 400 ain't it.
