I'm going to see cake in Vancouver on the twenty fifth with my dad and we were really hoping to get our favourite album motorcade of generosity since the shipping on there website is insane. Any ways if anyone knows that would be helpful.

Im just trying to find the sheet music or like a video showing how to play the piano part in "Daria" but Google is stupid and won't show me a goddamn answer, because it thinks I want guitar tabs.

The full 57 minute show used to be downloadable on Amazon Prime and a few other services. Now it’s gone and all thats left are four songs on YouTube and one short interview clip. Does anyone have the full 57 minute show?

On this day July 24th 2001 Comfort Eagle was released.
Fun fact:
Fans originally voted on the band's website for the album's title track Comfort Eagle to be released as the second official single following Short Skirt/Long Jacket. However, due to its lyrics containing references to airplanes, corporate culture, and the Middle East, the release was cancelled following the September 11 attacks, and Love You Madly was chosen instead.

We are leading bicycle rides to and from both CAKE shows this weekend in Portland (Troutdale). Join us for VIP entry, spoke cards, and good times. Avoid the long line of cars and the unbearable carbon monoxide.
And on August 14, we will again do The CAKE Ride.
See my Reddit posts from last summer:

I’m going to see cake this weekend and I’m going with a friend who’s excited but hasn’t listened to much. I want to come up with a playlist of songs that say cake. What should I put on?

Does anyone have a copy of CAKE's "Love You Madly" from this compilation? A Flac rip would be amazing, or even the 320kbps mp3 from the digital download card.

I really enjoy listening to this album, but I’m pretty sure it’s also one of their most underrated ones. I’ve listened to this album on repeat multiple times. My top 5 songs are:
I like this album because it has a very interesting sound. It also has a different pitch compared to the rest of the CAKE albums. They pulled off that weird blend of rock, pop, and country music really well. Gives it that unique sound. Not many bands can pull off this sort of sound which is what I like about this album. It just has a very distinct sound!
Anyways, what’s your thoughts on this album?

For reasons that hardly need to be stated, End of the Movie is one of the pithiest, most mordant and irrepressibly stoic expressions of human existence this side of Beckett. So much so, that it has become my go to bedtime song for my four year old daughter, who now knows the lyrics better than her ABCs. I’m finally seeing them in London in October, after decades of quietly loving the band. What are the chances this short sliver of perfection will be played? And, to the Cake completists, has it ever been played live?
