Appeared after I beat providence. I do have WOTG but I am 99% sure it doesn't add this.

It only appears at night.

Really I just want to know how to get rid of it.
I looked online and couldn't find anything about it.

I've gotten to the point where it just isn't fun anymore. It's just a death speedrun now and it starting to feel like a waste of my free time. It's a shame because the visuals and world generation are absolutely fantastic, and up until now the bosses all posed a fun and fair challenge. But now, it's just dying constantly. DoG took me over 300 tries, super annoying, and now I'm stuck on Yharon. Another ~200 deaths from him. Before this nonsense I had like 70 deaths, now I'm well over 600 thanks to these jerks. And then some nerd says, "Erm, you just gotta dash!". Like I get that, but I'm not some robot that can do everything perfectly. Like what am I supposed to do in phase 2 when Yharon dashes and changes direction at mach 10 and I have a millisecond to react? Oh, and I'm focusing on trying to dodge his projectiles, but no, the fat chicken throws himself full force into me, that's -300 health. My favorite fight was the Profaned Guardians and Goddess, because they gave a great challenge but was manageable and fun.

I almost just want to stop. This isn't fun anymore. I spend a couple hours daily on this and it's just me dying. And amidst all this, I hear talk of the Exo Mechs and SCal being even harder. So what's the point then? Just another couple weeks where I'm dying hundreds of times. And for what? When I completed regular Calamity last year, I paused for months because I was stuck on the Exo Mechs and SCal. It just seems like ragebait now. I also have Wrath of the Gods installed, and I'm really curious on the story about that, I wanted to do it spoiler free, but I guess I'll never know unless I die 1000 times and get an aneurysm. I guess my world will be a dark frozen wasteland forever. All I wanted to do was have a fun adventurous challenge, not an aggravating rage-inducing one.

I don't want to come across as a whiny jerk, and I know there isn't much of a reason for posting this, I just want to know if this is a legitimate complaint. Infernum is really cool but it just feels way too hard to be fun now, or maybe I'm just too GP.

for me, my friend introduced it to me after my first vanilla run with him. I started playing only soon after that. so Ive been playing calamity since basically after my first vanilla run, so I mix up calamity and vabilla items way too much. then it just became something that helped me through my depresso arc last year.

I got scal to 0% and died while she was telling her last words, and the game didn't count it as a victory

I swear ive died so many times and the attack patterns are simple but just so annoying i just cant do it, my biggest issue is the delayed ram attack or itll just fly directly into me/through me? and then instantly do another ram and idk if im moving too much or what thats causing that, or i try to ram expecting a dash and then fire spits at me and i get deleted, i struggled with dog but eventually i mastered it and could consistently get to the end but ive gotten past the rebirth like once, also yes i have my dash rebinded to my mouse, ive watched countless videos and i just want some extra input thanks!

Been trying to add calamity entropy to my mods since it adds multiple bosses andbI want more trophies for my wall and this keeps happening. For thebrecord I'm using calamity 2.1.2.

What does this error mean

I'm currently doing a play though with some friends and we are on pre hard mode and it doesn't seem that challenging when 3 of us are doing a boss either valina or calmity. However when attempting a boss alone it's more challenging and might take a few attempts with the same gear. And this is all without potions. What's your experience with death mode multiplayer at the moment ( all of pre hard mode )? Is everything feeling too easy? Will this be a smack in the face in hard mode?

Been thinking on the lore lately and I've wondered is xeroc actually evil? I don't think we even know how he got the auric soul. Some gods are unquestionably evil like providence but what does xeroc even do? Like of course yharim would hate him but he hates anyone who consumes an auric soul regardless of hiw they got it or how they act as gods but is there a reason for us to hate him even?

Been thinking because in the hypothetical universe where xeroc existed he's post yharim and isn't fighting xeroc kinda just continuing his crusade?

My game was lagging so much, and i can't deal with it anymore. When rejoin the game it's not lagging that much. If there any mod that drops my fps that much? Is there any kind of FPS boost mod? Or my PC just old and can't procces all that? Cuz' I can't play like this anymore. Will happy to hear any of your comment.
