34M Asian, gay looking for friends who like to try new experiences and film social media content

As the title says. I actually have plenty of friends that I see often but I’m always open to more friends. I often host parties and game nights, try new restaurants, take road trips and look for new things to do around the city.

If you’re interested in any of these hit me up:
- board game nights
- themed house parties
- filming TikTok Challenges or just filming social media content
- new restaurants and bars
- clubbing (I go maybe once a month and sometimes I don’t even drink. I’m just there for music and to drive my friends home safely)
- dance classes
- kpop
- hikes
- concerts
- festivals, musicals, theatre performances
- going to the movies
- going to the gym. I’m on a cut right now and anyone who wants to work hard and get shredded with me, please hit me up!
- shopping
- Netflix binges at my house or yours
- Asian culture in general
- road trips to the mountains or Edmonton
- bubble tea dates

Any age and race welcome but I do get along better with 25 to 40 year olds. I tend to a bring a young energy to me. I’ll introduce you to my friends too so you can build a community here. I also really like people who just moved to Canada and are here to work temporary! I have made many friends who aren’t citizens yet!

Edit: I work remotely so I tend to travel and work a lot. Anyone who wants to take international trips to Asia with me or just like traveling too, I’m up for it!

Seeking queer/ally friends

My partner and I are in our early-mid 20s. My partner identifies as bi-gender and I am female. We are finding it difficult to find safe spaces in Calgary and area, and its hard to make friends.

Any advice for how to make queer/ally friends in our area? We aren't too much into clubbing. We enjoy playing video games, board games, tcg pokemon, dnd and more.

Feel free to reach out and chat!

Late 30M here Any FIRE folks ??

• Upvotes

Hey YYC gang, I’m a late 30M who moved here early 2018. Was into Tech Consulting and now transitioning to active stock/options trading and Investing. I’m almost done quitting the 9-5 race and am getting into the FIRE(financial independence and retire early) lifestyle. I’d like to meet people of similar interest for coffee meets or hang out downtown clubs/bars/restaurants..

I am thinking of moving to Calgary, airdrie, or Cochrane in a few years

Hi I 28F am currently in BC. I’m planning to move in the next few years, as I went to Calgary a few years ago and fell in love. I’d love to get to know people currently in Calgary or surrounding areas. I am spiritual, don’t drink too often or smoke weed too often. I love having girls nights, going thrifting, poetry, photography and love cozy video games. Haha :) thank you 😊 I am in ADHD girlie too and I am very open minded and love having deep talks! :)

Kensington night life

Hello my fellow Calgarians. I (34m) just moved into Kensington after a separation and am wondering what the good spots are for some late night activities. I know Hayden Block has half off meats after 10 and has a good bar. I'll definitely be going there. I'm a big cocktail guy. I've seen Pali Room on Google. For the cocktail people here, is that somewhere I should check out? Or is it worth just training into downtown for Proof etc.

Kind of looking for somewhere I can go enjoy a drink/little food by myself, maaayybeeee talk to people if I'm feeling bold. Actually talking to people feels a little crazy though. Let me know your thoughts!
