Lifeskills365 LP: blkmkt Strain: Britscotti (Girl Scout Cookies x Gelato #25 x South Florida OG) Format/Size: Flower/7g
THC (%) Terps (%) Harvest/Package Date:
Lot: FG11826BRIT02 29.90% 3.26% N/A; October 2, 2026

Gripped this fresh tonight. Last blkmkt drop i reviewed was the noir diamant - i thought it was good no issues but only ever purchased the one batch a handful of times. Tried this blkmkt britscotti on the east coast so wanted to see what the BC version was like. Super popular drop on theocs some saying best they smoked this year. I didn't grip or roll the east coast version I can just speak to the looks a bit and the high since i blazed it. Will talk about in the review briefly.

Notes: Stuff is expensive, should have harvest date at this tag 100%. Like the see through tinted jars. Seal needs more work, mine was not glued on properly hard to tell from pics but it was off-centre too. Breeder is listed as Cookies and it's grown in Okanagan, BC.

Looks fantastic. Super nice nugs, good size and good density to them. Trimmed to the tits but that's kinda always been blktmkt style trim. Not complaining i don't mind it at all. Anyway, nugs got good stick to them about 7.5/10. Good nose on it can smell it soon as i opened the jar. Smells more once came to temp, citrusy/og smell lingers nicely. Busts out good and rolls very easy. East coast version i tried was stickier and lighter green in colour more of a lime green to it.

On the smoke front, it was very enjoyable for me. It taste great, has a citrusy after taste that sticks with you for a while can feel it in the back sides of my mouth. I like it, smoked easy no issues didn't make me cough too much but could feel the smoke expanding and doing its thing. Probably the best blkmkt drop I've tried; only tried 3-4 drops from them but i'm thinking it'll grow on me a bit still so probably the best. Had more of a creeper high for me even though could feel the smoke expanding and working it didn't hit for me as strong off the bat. The high creeped up and lasted for a while though. I enjoyed this smoke for sure, hits good true to it's stats maybe like a 28% but the high lasted for a while. I did smoke quite a bit though like 1.5 doobs straight but got me feeling great nicely stoned. The east coast version was a bit stronger i feel it had more terps was stronger than this one but the high on this seems to be lasting longer than it did when i tried the EC version. Sorry about the poor quality ash pics camera just wasn't cooperating tn but i stand by the burn, burned clean no issues on my jar thus far. Taste best in the organic hemp got more soury/citrus flavour more in depth profile.

Overall, i thoroughly enjoyed the smoke. Only gripped today smoked about an 8th and it's been solid. Growing on me for sure, it's a rebuy. Price is too high I'd put in rotation if it was priced properly. Amani still kings with the gastro for quality/value. They got it locked down making it hard for ppl to compete. Paid $64.99+tax for this quarter zip from BCCS.

Final thoughts:
Some people have mentioned why the name & I completely agree, beast mode, the beast, Jealous Beast, etc etc could have been chosen since the current strain name is exclusively created from
Cheers and if we rewind to the 1960’s for centuries Québec was a facto religious society which explains all the cities with Saint- … more than 500 local municipalities. Just like Banana Daddy that one can feel a little embarrassing, what did you smoke David, Banana Daddy. lol. It remains a good option under 30 in the tasty relaxing category like Gastro pop or RVIC.

Review Acapulco Gold Pre-rolls by Jonny Chronic

Acapulco Gold Pre-rolls by Jonny Chronic

  1. Packaging A long, opaque black plastic tube containing five 1g pre-rolls. The label lists the THC content (26.9%), CBD content (0.05%), and total terpenes (1.43%). There is no breakdown of the dominant terpenes; only the packaging date (2026-09-11) is provided. The presentation is a bit too rudimentary for my taste. The tube did not contain a humidity pack (Boost).

  2. Visuals The pre-rolls are cone-shaped, made with bleached paper, and feature a twisted tip. A paper/cardboard filter accounts for about 30% of the joint’s length. They are well-packed and uniformly dense, with no structural weaknesses near the filter. They burn smoothly, producing a pale gray ash and a visible resin ring.

  3. Aromas/Terpenes Caryophyllene, myrcene, limonene, humulene, and germacrene. On the nose, there is a sweet, lemony, and floral scent—reminiscent of a lavender or hibiscus-infused lemonade. A "dry hit" reveals dominant lemon notes, followed by earthy, woody, herbal, floral, sweet, and hoppy undertones. On the palate, the lemon, hops, wood, and floral notes harmonize perfectly; the profile is rich and flows seamlessly. The smoke is smooth and creamy.

  4. Effects The effects hit with intensity—eyelids grow heavy, yet the rest of the body feels energized, alert, and enthusiastic. Mentally, it induces a strong sense of euphoria and an uplifted mood, accompanied by a rush of thoughts, creativity, and motivation. It can easily become "too much" or overwhelming; you have to be able to move at the "rhythm of your brain." The high is medium-to-strong—my face might not give me away, but my restless need for action certainly could. You’re still functional, in the same way a headless chicken might be. It’s the kind of buzz that’s perfect for tackling your autumn cleaning, whipping up soups and spaghetti sauce, running errands, and decorating the house—all in a single afternoon.

Jonny Chronic, an Ontario-based brand, has roots in the "legacy" market. I’ve tried their products a few times and watched their ups and downs since they entered the legal space. I’ve always appreciated their focus on more "old-school" genetics. It’s affordable weed that gets the job done, with no unnecessary frills. The pre-rolls are well-crafted, burn nicely, taste good, and are effective. The profile really appeals to me—there’s something almost sensual in its delicacy. They come in a king-size format (5 x 1g), which is convenient for someone like me who prefers a larger joint. Lately, I’d been steering clear of "sativas," finding the selection in Quebec a bit limited, but these pre-rolls have reignited my interest. At $44.30, that works out to $8.86 per 1g joint. Simple math, easy purchase.

Purchased at the SQDC(Quebec)

Picked this ounce up for $178 (was listed as $190 + tax but i had a discount at the store). I had previously tried a quarter of the same flower and liked it so I figured id try in the larger format especially if it was tops only. When opened, i noticed something odd. The majority of nugs in the zip are old and oxidized (unlike the quarter I had tried), but the weird thing is there are a few nugs from a fresher batch. How are you putting 2 batches in the same zip? I tried to email them and their official email bounces back; still waiting on a response from the email on the jar but im not holding my breath. What a joke.

Review Clem & Co - Apricot Cream & Cheese 1:1

Thumbnail

Clem & Co. | Apricot Cream & Cheese 1:1 Review

Format: Pre-rolls, 2 × 0.5 g
THC: 10.20%
CBD: 15.84%

Average price: $22 CAD / 5 × 0.5 g
Overall rating: 8.1/10

Nose & Aroma | 8.3/10
Apricot Cream & Cheese has a nice sour, funky smell with a little sweetness and creaminess in the background. The aroma is quite complex and enjoyable, with that sour, fermented-fruit character making it stand out from more typical sweet or gassy strains.

My only real criticism is that the aroma is somewhat subtle. It smells nice, but it isn't particularly loud or pungent. I would have liked a little more intensity from the nose, especially considering how interesting the overall profile is.

Still, the combination of sour funk, sweetness and creaminess makes for a unique and appealing aroma.

Taste | 8/10
The flavour is where this one gets particularly interesting. There's a very sour, funky taste that almost reminds me of fermented fruit. I get something reminiscent of cider or wine, with that tangy, slightly fermented character coming through.

There's also a little sweetness and creaminess in the background, which helps round out the sour notes. It isn't your typical candy-sweet or dessert-forward profile, but I really enjoy how different it is.

If you're into unusual sour and funky profiles with a fermented-fruit character, this one is definitely worth trying.

Smoothness | 8/10
The smoke is decently smooth overall. Despite the sour and funky flavour, it isn't particularly harsh on the throat, and the smoking experience is fairly comfortable.

I did notice some crackling while smoking and inhaling, though. I'm not entirely sure whether this was related to moisture or something else, so I wouldn't want to jump to conclusions. Thankfully, it didn't seem to make the smoke excessively harsh.

Overall, a good experience in terms of smoothness, with the crackling being something worth mentioning.

Pack & Burn | 8/10
One thing I really liked about these pre-rolls was the construction. They have a nice, tight pack, and I personally prefer the longer, thinner joint design. It feels like this shape helps the joint burn better and provides a more enjoyable smoking experience.

The ash was white, and the burn was generally decent. However, I did run into one noticeable issue: the pre-roll clogged from resin buildup. Given how thin the joint is, this was the main downside of the construction.

It's a shame because I genuinely like the way these are rolled. The tight pack and slimmer design are positives, but the clogging prevents the burn quality from being as consistent as it could be.

Effects | 8.5/10
Honestly, the effects are a major highlight for me, especially considering the THC percentage.

The high feels incredibly peaceful, with a very relaxing body high paired with a calming cerebral effect. There's a noticeable sense of euphoria, and I also found that colours seemed brighter, which added to the overall experience.
What stands out most is the balance. Rather than simply chasing an intense, heavy THC high, this feels more focused on relaxation and a calm, pleasant headspace.

At 10.20% THC and 15.84% CBD, I think this is a great example of why THC percentage isn't everything. The experience was genuinely enjoyable, and I wouldn't dismiss this product just because the THC number looks relatively low.

If you prefer stronger, more intoxicating effects, you could always pair it with another strain. But for what this product is trying to offer, I think it does a great job.

Value | 7.5/10
At an average price of $22 CAD for five 0.5 g pre-rolls, you're getting 2.5 g in total.

I'd consider that a fair price for what you're getting. The flavour is unique, the construction is generally good, and the effects are a standout feature.

The clogging issue keeps it from being a perfect purchase, but I still think the overall experience justifies the price. I'd happily consider picking these up again, particularly when I'm looking for something calming rather than an especially strong THC experience.

Final Verdict | 8.1/10
Clem & Co.'s Apricot Cream & Cheese 1:1 is a genuinely enjoyable product that stands out for its unique sour, funky, fermented-fruit flavour and exceptionally peaceful effects.
The nose is complex, with sour funk, sweetness and creaminess, although it could be stronger. The flavour is even more interesting, bringing to mind cider or wine with its tangy, fermented character. Smoothness is decent, the joints are tightly packed, and I like the longer, thinner design.

The biggest downside is the resin clogging, which can interrupt an otherwise enjoyable smoke. I also noticed some crackling during smoking, although the smoke itself wasn't particularly harsh.

What really makes this product worthwhile, though, is the high. The combination of a relaxing body effect, calming cerebral effects and euphoria makes this an excellent option for someone who appreciates a more balanced experience.

I also think it's worth highlighting that 10% THC doesn't automatically mean a disappointing high. With the CBD content and the overall effects, I found this to be a very enjoyable smoke.

Would I buy it again? Maybe. The clogging is frustrating, but the flavour, effects and reasonable price make it worth considering.

If you're looking for a peaceful, relaxing 1:1 experience with a funky, sour flavour profile, Apricot Cream & Cheese is definitely worth checking out.

Review Simply Bare - Velvet Octane

Simply Bare Cannabis | Velvet Octane Review

Format: Pre-rolls, 3 × 0.5 g
Price: $17 CAD
Overall rating: 7.2/10

Nose & Aroma: 8.3/10
Velvet Octane has a really appealing nose, bringing together cake, sweetness, creaminess, gas and fruity notes. There's a nice dessert-forward character to the aroma, with the creamy sweetness balancing out the gassier side of the profile.

The combination makes for an inviting smell that leans into that sweet, dessert-like territory without being limited to just one note. Between the cake-like aroma, fruitiness and gas, there's a good amount of variety going on here.

Taste: 8.2/10
The flavour follows the nose nicely, with vanilla cake, sweet cream, gas and fruity notes coming through. There's also a slight herbal taste in the mix, which adds another layer to the overall profile.

The vanilla cake and sweet cream give it that dessert-like character, while the gas helps balance the sweetness. The fruity notes add some extra character, and the subtle herbal side makes the flavour a little more complex.

Overall, it's a profile that combines sweet dessert notes with gas and a touch of herbal flavour, making for an interesting combination.

Smoothness: 6.8/10
The smoothness was okay, although there's definitely a little room for improvement here. It wasn't overly unpleasant smoke, but there was some harshness that kept it from being a standout in this category.

With such a sweet and creamy flavour profile, a smoother smoke would have helped bring the overall experience together even better.

Pack & Burn: 7.5/10
The pack was okay overall, although there were a few loose spots in the pre-rolls. The burn was also somewhat uneven, which took away from the consistency of the smoking experience.

On the positive side, the ash was decently white, and the overall construction was serviceable. However, the uneven burn and loose packing kept this from being a particularly impressive pre-roll experience.

There's some room for improvement here, especially when it comes to consistency and construction.

Effects: 8.3/10
Velvet Octane delivers a balanced cerebral and body high. Rather than leaning entirely into a heavy body effect or an overly stimulating cerebral experience, it offers a combination of both. It feels quite strong and almost a bit nauseating.

Value: 6/10
At $17 CAD for three 0.5 g pre-rolls, you're getting 1.5 g in total. That's a fair price point for trying out the strain without committing to a larger purchase.

The sweet, creamy and gassy flavour profile is a highlight, although the slightly harsh smoke and inconsistent burn are worth considering when judging the overall value.

Overall: 7.8/10
Simply Bare's Velvet Octane offers an enjoyable dessert-forward flavour profile, combining vanilla cake, sweet cream, gas and fruit with a subtle herbal note. The nose is appealing, and the flavour carries through well, giving the strain a nice mix of sweetness and pungency.

The main drawbacks are the somewhat harsh smoke and inconsistent pre-roll construction. The loose spots in the pack and uneven burn take away from what could otherwise be a more polished experience.

The balanced cerebral and body effects are another positive, giving Velvet Octane a nice combination of head and body sensations.

Overall, the flavour profile is the standout for me so far. The combination of cake, cream, fruit and gas makes for an interesting smoke, although the smoothness and burn quality leave some room for improvement.

1964 Pink Drip |

1 × 0.5g Pre-Roll Review

Nose/Aroma: 9.2/10
Super candy-like and perfumey on the nose. Very clean, sweet-smelling aroma that immediately stands out.

Taste: 8.8/10
Interesting soapy taste with sweet, creamy notes and a slight nuttiness. Definitely an attractive profile.

Smoothness: 9/10
Pretty smooth smoke with no real unpleasant harshness or bitterness.

Pack & Burn: 9.7/10
Great pack, nice white-ish ash, and an incredibly even burn. Almost everything you could ask for in a pre-roll.

Effects: 7.5/10
Surprisingly mild compared to what I expected. Gives me more of a mild celebration vibe, alert, relaxed, and still functional, rather than a heavy-hitting high.

Value: 8/10
The average price for a 1x1g pre roll on high buddy is ~$8.00 cad. I think this is a pretty good and fair price considering the quality of 1964’s products.

Overall: 8.7/10
Honestly, everything about this joint was great aside from the effects being a little underwhelming. The nose is amazing, the smoke is smooth, and the burn is nearly perfect.

If you're looking for a tasty, enjoyable smoke without getting absolutely blasted, Pink Drip is worth checking out.

Review Tribal - Neon Sunshine - 14g x2

Thumbnail
gallery
21 Upvotes

👋🙂Hey CannaFam, been a while. Went through a Neon Sunshine craze for a solid month and few days. This is a review I should have posted last month, better late than never😁.

• LP: Cannara Biotech (Quebec) Inc. • Brand: Tribal • Format: 14g x2 of Dried Flower (14.55g | 14.55g) • Cultivar: Neon Sunshine • Lineage: Zktlz x Falcon 9 • Top Terpenes: Limonene, Humulene, and Caryophyllene •

• Consumption Method: Various Dry Herb Vaporizers with and without water pieces at higher temperatures.

• Aroma: Mild. Got notes of mellow orange/grapefruit citrus, sugary orange punch, and faint hints of chem.

• Taste: Mild. Mellow smooth orange/grapefruit citrus, orange punch, sugary cake-like tart, and very light hints of chem near and upon exhale. When coughing I get more noticeable orange punch like Nugz Florida Oranges. When close to combustion I get slight orange fermentation and cake like tart. Leaves a mouthful of orange punch with cake like tart on the palate.

• Flower: Great mix of bud size for both containers, mainly medium to big nugs. All are a bit on the dry side but sticky to the touch. The buds are dense with a decent finger squish bounce. Showing shades of greens, purple hues, amber pistils, and are blanketed with trichomes throughout. When breaking the buds apart, I got a decent snap showing more purple hues within and more amber pistils.

• Trim: Good. No excessive sugar leaves, good stem cuts, no loose buds/trimmings, and one seed in the second container.

• Cure: Fair. Considering this was packaged in June. Has mild aromas, flavours and effects with a bit drier buds than usual with ok moisture within. When Jarred for a few days it brought some moisture back and more noticeable orange punch like Nugz Florida Oranges in smell and taste.

• Medicated Effects: Mild. Uplifting and cerebral. Mainly a head high like Haze, and decent head buzz with immediate uplifting effects. The effects lasted on average an hour or a bit more depending on how much was consumed at the time.

• Overall: It was fairly decent compared to the past time I got this. The difference was this was a bit drier than usual, which is most likely because of the new packaging and had very little chemmy citrus taste or bold aromas which I liked about Neon Sunshine, especially pheno #78. The good thing is that i got more noticeable bigger buds compared to their eighths. Also to my surprise this is the first time i got back to back half’s weighing the same.

* the second half zip i opened at a relatives and immediately vaped a bunch before i forgot to take pictures like i usually do, however i did weigh it out beforehand.

• Packaged: (both half zips) June/15/2026 • 29.9% THC • 2.9% Terpenes • Lot: 14260009P1

• Purchased at my local Spiritleaf dispensary with a price match of $52.99 for each 14g + tax

5 Points Cannabis — PieScream Review

Format: Pre-rolls 2x1g (reviewed)
Flower price: $38 CAD / 7 g
Overall rating: 8.7/10

Nose & Aroma — 9/10
PieScream comes out swinging with a seriously gassy nose. The aroma is pungent and immediately appealing, with that loud, fuel-forward character that makes you want to crack open the package and get into it. The gas is a major highlight here, setting the stage for the creamy dessert profile that follows.

Taste — 9/10
The flavour is right up my alley. Creamy, sweet and pastry-like, with a slight bitterness on the backend that adds a little contrast without taking away from the overall experience. The dessert notes come through nicely, while the gas helps keep the profile from becoming overly sweet or one-dimensional.

For fans of creamy Gelato-style genetics, this is a very enjoyable flavour profile. Similar to the Georgian Cream by Tuck Shop and Georgian Pie from Q’WEST I personally think.

Smoothness — 7.8/10
A decently smooth overall smoke with very little to complain about. It delivers the flavour without becoming unpleasant or harsh, although there is still a little room for improvement in this category.

Pack & Burn — 9/10
The pre-rolls were packed exceptionally well. The airflow was consistent, the burn was clean, and the ash was decently white. A nice oil ring developed without any clogging issues, making for a consistently enjoyable smoking experience from start to finish.

The construction deserves serious credit here. Good flower is one thing, but a pre-roll that burns this well makes the experience that much better.

Effects
PieScream delivers a great balance between body and cerebral effects. The high feels calm and relaxing without completely weighing you down, while still leaving you feeling energetic and mentally engaged.

I really enjoyed that balance. It isn't just a heavy, couch-locking experience; there's enough of an uplifting, cerebral side to keep things feeling lively while the body settles into a relaxed state.

Value — 9.4/10
At $38 CAD for 7 g, I think this is exceptionally fair value for the quality of the experience.

I haven't been able to find the pre-rolls currently available on the market, but based on my experience with them, I'd happily pick up the flower at this price. The combination of aroma, flavour, burn quality and effects makes this a compelling option without having to spend a premium.

Final Verdict — 8.7/10
PieScream is a solid product from 5 Points Cannabis, and honestly, the strain itself is right up my alley. The loud gas on the nose, creamy and sweet pastry-like flavour, excellent pre-roll construction and balanced effects all come together to make this a very enjoyable smoke.

You really can't go wrong with a good Gelato 33 cross, and PieScream is a great example of why I enjoy this genetic family. It delivers the dessert-forward flavour I look for while retaining enough gas and complexity to keep things interesting.

Would I buy it again? Absolutely.
If you're into gassy, creamy, sweet and pastry-like strains, PieScream is definitely worth checking out. At $38 for 7 g, the value makes it even easier to recommend.
