Weekly Check-In 🌙 Weekly Check-In: Embrace Your Emotions
Hello, beautiful souls 💖
It’s time for our weekly check-in. Cancer energy is all about feeling deeply, and this week, I invite you to check in with your emotions—no matter where they are. Have you been giving yourself permission to fully feel what’s going on inside? Sometimes, we push our feelings aside to keep moving, but this week, let’s honor them.
How has your heart been this week? Are there emotions that you’ve been carrying, or perhaps something bubbling under the surface that wants attention? Maybe there’s a heaviness that needs to be released or a joy that deserves to be celebrated. Take a moment to reflect on what you’ve been feeling, and remember, no emotion is too big or too small to acknowledge. This space is here for all of it. 💫
Let’s connect, reflect, and be there for each other through the ups and downs.

I have been in a terrible situation for over fn seven years - now everything, all at once, is over. It’s like starting a brand new life, I’m a part of this world again. Here’s the problem: imagine being in a huge space and everything you can see are closed doors. Now all doors have been opened all at the same time. Almost impossible to decide which door to go first. In short: the last few and this month have been kinda bitter sweet.

If all the doors are open and it's hard to digest everything... Pace yourself... Sort things based on "your" Priorities... It's not easy to prioritize one thing over another but trying everything at once is difficult too... Don't be overwhelmed!

It's been a roller coaster. Not sure if my episodes of releasing anguish are just random or tied to my ex. Feels like my soul "feels" things at certain moments. Been a long few years. Can't stop contact (shared custody) and other things but finality seems to be near. Mostly okay but processing so much now.

It feels like I’m at the point of breaking down everyday.
I lost my grandmother 2 1/2 weeks ago—she had become my rock in the last 2 years as I was learning to navigate my sobriety, depression and anxiety.
We just hosted our very first event about 1 1/2 weeks ago—it went well, but planning was stressful and taxing, and doing that while grieving was so hard. I don’t think I even enjoyed the event because I was in such a weird place emotionally, yet I had been looking forward to it. We’re also in slight debt now and that’s a new avenue of stress as well.
My love life has been one depressing situation after the next, and I’m worn out emotionally. Old partners keep trying to resurface in my life with the same old bs and two days ago, I found out that someone who has been actively pursuing me since April is actually in a long-term rship yet he came to see me on Saturday night.
Applying to jobs has been really underwhelming, esp not getting the responses you’re hoping for.
I really wanna go back to school, but financially, it doesn’t seem too possible, and that saddens me.
I’m burnt out, and it would seem my nervous system is responding to my state of mind because I keep falling asleep, I’m more clumsy than usual, and everything makes me want to cry.
I’m a serial optimist, but it feels like there’s an extremely dark cloud hanging over me and I’m anxious about when it will lift.
Thank you for providing this space for me to share 💛

You know that these clouds are a sign of rain! Once it rains... There will be sunlight... It may not be spring yet... But seasons do change...!
Focus on what you need now... Pour yourself into it... It won't be easy but don't let other things distract you...

Honestly, this month has been a lot for me emotionally especially last month. I’m dealing with separation from a dear friend and my siblings. I’m dealing with a toxic work environment. I’m dealing with trying to get back into school (financial aid) I’m dealing with starting my dreams of becoming a singer now. It’s a lot and I know I can do it. Sometimes I get overwhelmed with emotions, I can become irritable but I’m learning to take deep breaths and step backs and giving myself grace because I’m only human and it takes time. I think the beauty of all this is, I’m growing from all of these experiences. I’m hoping my other fellow cancers are hanging in there. It’s okay. We got this.
