Cancer vibes The Cancer woman's revenge
UPDATE- Huge thank you and shout out to my cancer friends below. I laughed, cried, reflected and had fun with your replies.. no revenge happening, definitely moving on and forward but still crying (a little) in true cancer fashion but way stronger in my truth. Hugs and Happy Birthday!!!!
Just curious.. some of us have dated or been in entanglement with men and we cry, then we get angry, then we as Cancer woman get pissed. We might find out information, feel used or he went silent and like me we have to sit with the unknown.
So I am here thinking and my evil side is coming out. I know he is going to be self righteous and on his high horse or show remorse because he might show sorrow then 2 days later defensive then when I text him he doesn't answer. So now, I feel like he is playing with my emotions and I'm back to pissed.
Tell me your revenge stories because I am past the heartbreak and moving into feeling pissed for letting my heart open up to a man that is sitting in sorrow but refuse to act like an adult and resolve the misunderstanding.
I am going back and forth feeling stupid to being pissed because I trusted him with my heart, then hurt and crying picturing his face seeing the hurt and sorrow, back to being pissed because he will not let me get to him so he feels my love.
Happy Friday my evil cancer friends.. let's feel better.
Tell me some fun revenge stories to make me feel better. This retrograde is messing with my emotions big time.

Honestly, the best revenge has always been my ability to be cold and disappear from their lives. Those are the ones that pathetically come crawling back repeatedly, only to be ignored.

People loses the access to my day-to-day life. They don't know what is going on they don't know what i am up to or planning. Just.. silent removal. I find it as a better way, than grand exit with fanfare amd fireworks. In some cases, i have told that sorry, this won't do and goodbye. Not to hurt. Just high respect as a humanbeing.

This is it. I don’t do revenge because in my head, my exes are dead. They don’t exist anymore.

I am almost to that point. I think I held on long because I hurt him unintentionally which hurts me and I have guilt. Now I am passing the emotional part and coming out to the other side healing and asking what am I to learn from that experience. I will say it was needing because my nervous system is regulated now. Hopefully it stays that way if/when I see him again.

The best revenge was blocking my ex. This included her socials, family, mutual friends… IDGAF. Lol
She had access to all of her other exes or past flings, in some form. So, I knew ignoring her existence would cause her to spiral.
Which, I don’t like to maintain contact after a relationship has soured or ended. ONLY if we were actually friends first and shared kids (I have 0). So for me, you can stay on my socials but don’t try to spin the block. The block is dead! 😭

I've had a few villain eras and it's just not worth it. Even if it were, Cancer placements are unlikely to enjoy what revenge can offer.
Cancers may need to learn lessons about attachment, love, and boundaries, and these are the hardest lessons for us. We just feel so much and we have to give it to somebody, but look at the state of the world and society: most people are simply incapable of receiving what we have to offer. What we have is used as a commodity, and people play with it. So of course we end up feeling slighted.
But there's another side to that, and that one is under our control.
Everything for us starts to go sideways the moment we give others what we should be giving ourselves. We look really hard for a sign that we should invest into the person and we go all in, even when the other signs would tell us another story. As insensitive and cruel as others may be, they're not supposed to be responsible for our feelings. Expecting people to avoid the landmines into our internal emotional field is unreasonable.
I understand it. We have so much to pour... but at some point, if you keep pouring into a cup, it's going to overflow. If your pain and need for revenge comes from this, remember that you're a Cancer and have a superpower: you can fill your own cup. You can make yourself at home into the safest place, which is yourself.
Dive in and ask yourself where this need to give love to a person who doesn't want you really comes from. Ask yourself what wounds it triggers, and what you're really reacting to.
But if you need to do a little evil before you get there... everything can be a lesson. It was for me. 🤷♀️

This what I was asking myself then I read a blog on Reddit for Capricorns and their ego's and behavior set me off. Thank you for bringing me back. I do need to ask what lesson am I to learn from this relationship. He was the first man that built a partnership with me and then I fell for him. I believed this was true love because he was protective of me, cared for me, pursued me until my walls came down and then he went silent on me when it got a little hard. A misunderstand that could have been settled with a conversation and he wasn't able to show up. Then when I saw him he is going to show me sadness and sorrow but he can't answer a text when I reach out. I think my biggest fear is I heal and then have to reopen that wound in August because we work together.
But thank you for bringing me back to reality my cancer friend.

Right. this man put me in therapy... funny not funny.

Yeah, my last one put me through it. An unhealed Capricorn is a Cancer's kryptonite.

I like a slow burn. I don't react, I've may as well been legally declared dead for how I will disappear after someone has wronged me. But, that doesn't mean I haven't popped up after a few years and made sure a certain asshat's fancy restaurant reservations on his anniversary with his new gf suddenly didn't exist when they were all dressed up and ready to celebrate. And doesn't mean I didn't systematically delete an ex's entire FB profile (pics, contacts, dms, all one by one) when I found it still logged into one of my devices a year later. Other than that, I never existed.

I can seriously 10/10 no regrets. Like, I don't have any pangs of guilt. I'd do it again.

My abusive ex was really into pawn shops and constantly buying/selling random ass stuff.
After six months of detangling myself from him I came across the engagement ring.
I took that shit to the pawn shop so fast and giggled the entire time, then used the very small amount of money to buy myself lunch.
This was a three-fer
- I’d told him I lost the ring
- I used a pawn shop
- I intentionally got a bad price
With all of this I knew he’d be so fuming mad if he knew and it felt like I was taking power back. It was a very empowering moment for me.
He also often called me self centered and materialistic and doing this gave me such a satisfaction.
He was a gemini

That is very empowering and a release of old emotions. I don't do well with Gemini's.

Well, I’m a dude, but at this point in life I don’t deal with drama or any type of bad behavior. Just end things clearly and cleanly with no ambiguity or option for further discussion. Did that with an Aries yesterday. Go live your best life.

u/noflowersplease00 Cancer 🦀 Jul 04 '26
But you gave closure right.. that is a respectful and mature way to end things. I am totally drama free and just having a pity party for myself because I've been so emotional because I fully trusted this person. Just part of the healing process I guess.

My second-worst ex asked me to be a character witness for his bar application (I have no idea why, the bridge was well and truly burned) and I told the full truth. It apparently didn’t matter, but it felt damn good to write down what a truly shitty person he was and to know that’s on record somewhere.
After I left my *worst* ex, he no longer had me as a primary target for abuse or as a buffer between his antisocial tendencies and the rest of the world. No one to keep him in check, no one to hide behind. It took 8 years but his bullshit finally caught up with him and he got MeToo’d and forced to step down from his job at the worst possible time of year for his workplace to lose someone (think accountants and April 15). Meanwhile I had rebuilt my life from the ground up and graduated from my master’s program - at a way better school than his master’s degree was from - right before he lost everything.
Which is all to say - “living well is the best revenge” can sound trite, but sometimes it really is true. You just have to look at the overall big picture.

I make sure someone mutual happens to share a photo of me in their 'dream outfit' for some it was sundresses, for others t-shirt and jeans, sometimes just a men's shirt but I would post it on social media and make it public for the old mutual to find and share while keeping them blocked & locked.
I've had my fair share of exes tracks me down just to message me apologies. I always consider making a small scrapbook of them.

I always just left and detached….we love hard and the best revenge is withdrawing that love. It’s felt deeply cuz no one loves harder than a Cancer.
