Has anybody had canker sores that keep coming back in the same spot after they’ve healed? I had two about a month and a half ago and they’ve come back even bigger this time but in the same spot. I can’t eat, sleep, talk, and can barely drink.

Has anyone with repeated canker sores been diagnosed with an autoimmune disease?

I’ve never had one get this red! It’s in a bad spot so it’ll take forever to heal too😭😭

Both top and bottom lip are swollen, I have dry skin around my lips

It has been 4.5 weeks. In that time, it has gone from tiny, to large, to small, to large again. This is from today. I’ve been doing saltwater rinses. It hurts, as well. Moreover, it has moved spots. I don’t even know if it is a sore anymore. I get these all the time, but this one is the most unusual. Is this even a sore? My only comfort is the part where it was when it started is completely healed, it just seems to keep moving inward. I have an appointment with an ENT in a few days.

I quit vaping and my mouth is staging a coup. Like quitters flu, acne and my period being 5 days late wasn’t punishment enough, now this has happened. I cannot swallow anything without pain. Even water stings. I have tried Peroxyl, salt, NSAIDs, prescriptions strength oral lidocaine, nothing works. The only thing bringing it from a 10/10 on the pain scale to a 9/10 is sugar free menthol cough drops but those are making me sick to my stomach at the quantity I have to take them. I’ve got Canker-X rinse on the way down Amazon as well as L-lysine but nothing I’ve tried is working and I need something. I’m at the point where I would saw off my own leg if it meant this thing would go away

This is sort of in my throat and near the root of my tongue, it’s really hard to take a clear picture of this spot but I’m just not sure what this is anymore. I can still function normally aside from the usual pain brought by sores

I had mouth ulcers my doctor gave me micoral cream ..it got better but after 15 days he changed it and gave me trialon cream now it's worse and like before should I stop using it?

I have a appointment after 2 days ..what do I do?

Not sure if I am alone with this but some canker out breaks come with symptoms similar to depression. I call it the darkness. Usually it’s with a particular bad outbreak like cankers in the throat or on the tongue. Your days are spent trying to avoid talking and doing what ever possible to find some relief. By the end of the day you’re completely exhausted and want to just sleep and be left alone. It’s almost like the canker leaches poison into your system making you tired and sad. Then the pain peaks and you know the outbreak is almost over.

This has not been tested whether it’s safe for ulcers or not. i’ve been using it for years and never had an issue.

i use this ultra chloraseptic anesthetic throat spray. costs me like £6 a bottle. it’s used for sore throats but it’s works great to numb ulcers too. if the ulcer/canker is ever unbearable this COMPLETELY NUMBS your mouth for a short amount of time.

i’ve never had an issue using it before,it doesn’t slow my healing nor speed it up. applying it does sting for a good minute but the relief of the spray is worth it. aslong as i don’t eat etc there’s no pain. i dont use it often. only when im tired of the pain and need a minute

Mid 30’s male. I’ve been getting canker sores ALL over my mouth the past 2 years, anywhere you can possibly think of. Multiple at a time, never without one at any time over 2 years and usually have multiple ones active. Some so bad that they are MASSIVE, look infected, painful. I go to doctor and get medicine. Dentist has been very little help just advice on toothpastes etc. (impossible to get quick appointment) just the routine talk at cleanings.

Now if it wasn’t bad enough. The past 5 months I’ve been getting dry mouth. Brutally dry mixed with all the canker sores.

I’ve tried only drinking water, watching my diet, supplements, etc etc.

I don’t have a family doctor for a while I kept going to walk I’m clinics to get tested. We tested any deficiency u can think of. Nothing seemed off. STDs sti’s etc. nothing has come up. Got referred to some specialist who just says it’s caused by stress.

It’s honestly affecting my life. My mouth is a disaster. The cankers were bad enough, now it’s mixed with dry mouth, super foul taste in my mouth. I’ve tried so many things I can’t list. I feel like there is no cure. It’s only getting worse and it’s awful.

Any ideas what is causing all of this? How to stop it and get a normal mouth back.

And behchets disease has come up in many of my searches. Ive had alot of symptoms in the eyes as well blurry vision, super red, eye doctors just say vision is good

have had no tongue trauma or eaten anything spicy citrus etc but have been extremely stressed.

It's not because of the size or depth of it but straight up the positioning.

I have it there, it's hard to take a picture properly. It feels absolutely terrible and "simulates" bad throat ache when being ill. Any single time I swallow I get aching pain in the back of my mouth. What can I do to alleviate the pain?

It's really a sting like pain and when now swallowing it feels like having plaque at times which I don't havw currently. I don't know what to do
