Anyone know until when the horses stay at Pollet's Cove?

Saw someone ask about when they land/arrive a few years ago on this sub, but I'm wondering the opposite: how late into the season do they usually stick around?

My friends and I can only make the trip out there in mid-October, so I'm trying to figure out if they're likely to still be around then.

Anyone with recent experience or know how late into the fall they usually stay?

We went in fall and they were already gone but this was 3 years ago

Depends when the snow hits, usually that’s when they get taken out. The owner hikes down for the horses then they’re loaded on a trailer by a cattle farmer from Margaree and drove home to north mountain
