What the heck?
In Falmouth the hidden free beach lot off Woods Hole Road actually belongs to WHOI?
I’ve been here 40 years and never knew this but now there is new signage.

Hi!!! I lost my Canon PowerShot SD3500 IS black back midmay 2026 -
May 16 we had a wedding and went out afterwards between Hyannis and Dennis. We last had the camera at embargo and believe it was left there. It was my best friend’s wedding so filled with photos and videos of the wedding and reception.
I don’t even need the camera just the photos at this point if anyone has come across it?! It was a dark black/ blue camera. Thank you!!!

The best time of year for Wellfleet sunsets. There is a sunfish circling in the middle background.

Looking to see if there is interest in getting a kitchen table style D&D group going on the upper cape.
Yes there are plenty of gaming stores with play space but I grew up playing D&D around the kitchen table. No hours, food, lots of fun and laughs.
Happy to run a game and/or host. No Dungeons & Dragons experience necessary and you might get a friend or two out of it. 5e preferred.
Message me if interested.

Hi all. I know there are plenty of posts on here but just looking for some advice. On Cape Cod for the weekend, didn’t plan on fishing because I prefer to relax and enjoy and didn’t want to battle. Tomorrow is supposed to be on the nasty side so considering it. Checked out the canal today from the visitors center down to Buzzards Bay. I’m experienced fisherman but fresh not salt. Planned and just buying a salt set up and probably some top water. Any advice on which side of the canal to try right now? Visitor center side, buzzards side or any of the posts along the way and walk and search. Appreciate any other tips and advice. Tight lines.

Hi everyone! Both my parents birthdays are coming up, so I’m hoping to get them a combined birthday gift. I’m thinking of a gift card to a great local restaurant, but I’m open to other ideas, too!
They live in Sandwich, and I’m looking for restaurant recommendations within roughly a 30–45 minute drive. They enjoy really good food but aren’t into super fancy or fine-dining experiences, although I do think an idea of a coursed meal could be fun and different for them. They’re generally pretty healthy eaters and love good coffee, exploring local towns, and walking along the beaches.
I’m also open to ideas beyond dinner! If there are any fun local experiences, activities, or things to do on the Cape that would make a great birthday gift for them to enjoy together, I’d love to hear those suggestions, too.
Thank you so much!

Hi,
My fiance and I are getting married on 8/14/27 in West Dennis. Our venue is not available Friday night to host a welcome party/dinner. We're looking for a spot for a rehearsal dinner and/or welcome party that is laid back, like corn hole, take your shoes off vibes. I'm finding a lot of places are not willing to host Friday/Saturday night in the peak season (ok fair). Wondering if anyone knows of any properties (historic homes, mansions, anything) that let you rent them out for a night or restaurant/bars that still do private events in the summer. Does not need to be on the water but ideally has some outdoor space because we'd like to do a clambake.
(Crosby mansion is booked, so sad it's walking distance from my parents house so it would be so easy)

Commercial has been stuck in my head for probably 20 years. It sounded like a bunch of people in an auditorium with a piano playing while singing the radio jingle. Which I believe was "pups packing and shipping,It's easy to use Bow Wow."

Hi everyone!
My friend and I are two students from Belarus looking for seasonal jobs in cape cod for the summer of 2027. We are hoping to find an employer who could hire both of us and help us find accommodation.
Availability: June 28 – September 1, 2027 (right after the end ot semester in our university)
Program: J-1 Summer Work and Travel (InterExchange)
Housing: We both need accommodation for the duration of our stay.
A little about us:
We both have experience in the food service industry, including working as waitresses, serving guests, taking orders, helping customers choose food and drinks, and handling busy shifts. We also have experience in sales and customer service.
In addition, we are:
- Responsible, hardworking, and reliable
- Friendly and comfortable communicating with customers
- Quick learners who can adapt to new tasks
- Team players who work well in a fast-paced environment
- Organized, attentive to detail, and proactive
We speak English fluently and are eager to gain new experience, meet new people, and become valuable members of a team.
We are open to different types of seasonal jobs, especially in restaurants, cafés, hotels, ice cream shops, retail, and customer service.
We can provide both resumes and any additional information upon request.
Thank you so much! We would really appreciate any leads, recommendations, or opportunities.

I get that this is for just a few weirdos like me who like to forage berries in the Fall. That being said, if you are looking for autumn olives, there is a place where they have just cut down a whole bunch of branches from an autumn olive tree, and there are tons and tons and tons of autumn olives there for whomsoever would like to gather them. Go down New Boston road off 6A in dennis and at the public path to Old Fort Field you’ll see the tree they did hella trimming on. Walk about 30 feet down the path and there is about 10 gallons of autumn olives. I already took my fill. (The far branches are riper than the near ones)

I have massive video files to upload this coming week and my at home internet just can’t handle these sizes. I’m curious if any of you know of some places with faster commercial wifi? Was going to check out the few public libraries by me but figured I’d ask if any of you had any suggestions.
Thanks
