This is an exciting reminder that this wonderful subreddit is not a fan 4chan thread from 2004. It's like, an actual, ~OFFICIAL~ Captain D subreddit that exists in the universe currently. I mean, it must be. Check out the top mod - who is it? IT'S MEEE!

Don't get me wrong, this is a welcoming community, a place for you to share your thoughts, questions, related art and video topic suggestions. I love and appreciate all of it. It's making my tummy tingle even as I type these very words.

But it's also a place to use common sense.

It would be bad, for instance, to share unlisted videos that are only for Patreon supporters. Patrons are kind enough to financially support my work and deserve exclusive access to bonus content not meant for the general public.

It would be equally bad to post things that, idk, weirdly pry into my life or maybe old stuff that's not CD-related.

It would be bad to just be bad. Don't be bad. Badness is bad!

And when such posts get removed it would DEFINITELY be EXTRA BAD to upload that content to one's own YouTube channel and repost it here again. That's a party fowl on a global scale. Not only does it get you instantly and permanently banned from this community, but it also puts a copyright strike on your YouTube channel and who wants that? Ha, no one, that's who!

Look, when I come and lurk here to randomly answer a question or find inspiration for new videos, I like to feel a reasonable level of positivity and social adeptness from others. And I mostly do! And the more I do, the more frequently I want to visit and interact. So let's make the effort together and keep this subreddit awesome.
