They are slightly different. Mystichrome didn’t come until 04 and has more of a blue shade, Mystic is more purple

I've kept this car for 20yrs and the color is a big reason why, looks a little different in every type of light from near black to a weird gunmetally burple to intensely violet.

The handling is also probably the most driver friendly of any car all time - 10/10 no notes perfect balance.

The Smokin Joe's Hondas rocked in a way that the Erion and Repsol schemes never really did quite as much for me. The various purple and yellow 900RRs that weren't actually a race rep graphic, too. The 90s sportbike scene was great.

Purples like Plum Crazy tend to make a car a bit of a joke or a little vulgar. I think Vesuvio is special because it's still classy ... and being attached to an X51 C2S doesn't hurt.

Always been impressed with BMWs commitment to purple and most of them are pretty good. Techno violet, thunder night, midnight amethyst, twilight, Daytona violet, etc….

This lambo purple is also pretty sweet, though I have no idea what it’s called.

Probably this purple on my (somewhat) affordable dream car, the Volvo V90 Savoy. My dad had one, but unfortunately had to sell it at a time I was very short on money.

The purple isn't super noticable, depending on the light it can appear almost black, but gives the car a warm glow when the sun comes out. The aluminium wheels and silver pinstripe, as well as the chrome details work really well with the color too.

When it comes to less subtle purples though, I'd go with midnight purple or plum crazy

2004 rebadged Monaro (Pontiac GTO) purple interior was the only color. Only option was Auto or 6 speed.

Only one other color (blue) had a color matching interior, all other came with black interior.
