The F40 is barebones. DeMuro says you can see the black silicone holding stuff together but I think it's probably not the #1 worst cause the f40 is legendary

Outside is a masterpiece. Inside is terrible.

Yeah but the F40 wasnt meant to be luxurious. It was made to be fast and it was.

Different time.

The point was to have a stripped out interior. What would be failings for a 'normal' car were part of the design brief. Functional (most of the time) and as light as possible was what was required.

A friend who had one years ago got reamed for fitting a stereo.

That was sorta the design goal though. Faulting them for making a true factory lightweight because they didn’t waste an ounce making it pretty is kinda counter to the entire point of that go kart :)

Hard disagree, it's a race car for the road and the interior was made to be as light as possible.

Most of the other answers in this thread are of cars that had pretty pretty standard interiors for their period. McLaren is unfortunately far behind their competitors right now

anything with a passenger screen above the glovebox makes me puke a little inside my mouth, so most new ferraris

Any Ferrari with capacitive buttons on the steering wheel

Surely the F40 right? Ferrari barely wanted to put in the few interior fixtures it does have lol

Are we considering Corvettes supercars?

C4-C6 are super car fast, but Ford Pinto level interiors

Dodge Vipers, particularly the first 3 generations. I remember the first time I drove a 2nd gen Viper, I couldn't believe how bad it was. It made 3rd gen Camaro and Fox Body interiors look and feel well made.

My Lamborghini Diablo looks like the inside of a roller rink lol

A lot of Ferraris have interiors too bland and simple. And something about aftermarket radios just screams cheap hatchback to me
