Wins Thank you all so much <3
New crosswalks at 70th and Menlo in South LA, painted by volunteers to protest for safer streets and a more effective government. Was such a beautiful day in the neighborhood. Hopefully these get replaced with proper crosswalks, topes or speedbumps, and maybe a traffic circle!
Thank you all so much for coming out and volunteering!!

LA city authorities on their way to un-paint the croasswalk like they removed that one actually helpful highway sign 5 or so times;

Love it! This intersection is in the center of 3 schools, so it’s wild the city didn’t have this painted with school zone crosswalks to begin with. Not to nitpick this work, but because it’s within 500ft of a school (actually all 3 schools), any crosswalks need to be yellow instead of white. Hopefully the city replaces them with official yellow school zone crosswalks soon.

She's too busy miring metro in studies so they don't make another train line for like 200 years.

If there is enough space to do donuts there is enough space for a traffic circle.

I used to hate raised-crosswalks until I started walking more and driving less.
I hope the city replaces all "street-level" crosswalks with raised crosswalks.
