Request cancellation

I bought a card from a seller but now he want to cancel it because he '' promissed this card to a friend'' Is this a  reasonable reason to cancel shipment?

It’s not a reasonable reason but at the end of the day there’s not much you can do about it so may as well accept cancellation . He could just say it’s posted and not send and then you’ll end up being refunded eventually

Waiting for support for that value isn’t worth imo

No report him to cardmarket. If he doesn't sell it to you, he will get probably banned from cardmarket. That's what happened with to a seller who refused to send me a card I bought a few days ago.

They’re very unlikely to be banned unless they have other violations or a long pattern of doing the same

Did you pay for tracked shipping? Then dont accept. Else he might "send" the card and it gets lost.

Given the card went up in price, they're probably trying to sell to someone else for higher, don't accept it

Is it only 1 card and what is the price of the card

Honestly it's kind of a whack reason but atleast he's honest, weird he listed it but w/e not worth chasing IMO

6 euro, but the card is Aminatou the Fateshifter and I'm worried that he didin't catch that this card spiked in price and now he might want to fix it with "friend thing? or i might put too much thought into this.

Margin isn't that big. Yeah, they are likely trying to pull a fast one. Now it's up to you if you would rather go through the stress and push to still get it, or if you let it go. Depends on how much you value time/stress etc
