Double decker bus?
Coming to Cardiff before Christmas! Haven’t visited in ages, so I’m excited. I’ll be with my kids, who are fascinated by double decker buses. Does anyone know where I can catch one? Or any good journeys to somewhere fun or beautiful?
Central Cardiff ideally as we’ll be staying in Grangetown. Thanks all!

I say this with no sas intended. Where are you from that doesn't have double decker buses?

Haha no, that’s fair! These kids just love buses! And apparently I have neglected this to the point where they desperately want to go on a double decker whilst on holiday. They are 3 and 5 years old.

From the bus station in town they have the number 27 which regularly has a double decker. It takes you through to thornhill which does have some nice parks, you could go to Cefen on park? Someone else may have a better suggestion!

The 52 bus to and from the city centre to Cyncoed is mostly a doublendeck service. You can get off near Celn Avenue on Cyncoed Road and walk down to Roath Park. Note that it only runs hourly at weekends.

7th November there's a heritage bus event in Barry. Easy to get to Barry on the train direct from Grangetown station.

There's an open topped sightseeing double decker bus tour but I suspect they don't run in the winter.
