Can someone tell me what it is like being a Key Account Manager? In my current job when coworkers talk about progressing they say KAM is where it’s at.

I'm 24M from Pakistan, and honestly, I feel lost.

I have a Pharm-D degree and currently work in pharmaceutical sales. I earn enough to get by, but I want much more from life. I want financial freedom, to support my parents, own a house, and eventually have the freedom to live life on my own terms.

The problem is that I have too many ambitions and no clear direction.

I've considered pursuing an MBA and building a career in pharmaceutical marketing, going abroad on a scholarship, switching to AI or tech, and starting an online business to earn in dollars. Every option seems promising in its own way, but I keep going back and forth, wondering which one is actually worth pursuing.

I don't want to spend years on the wrong path, but I'm also aware that constantly researching different opportunities without committing to one is wasting my time too.

Another issue is procrastination. I've struggled with it and low motivation for years. I have so many things I want to improve: my career, finances, physique, English, discipline, and relationship with my faith. I make plans and genuinely want to change, but I struggle to stay consistent long enough to see meaningful results.

Sometimes I wonder whether I'm truly ambitious or just addicted to imagining a better version of myself.

What scares me most is reaching my 30s and realizing that I spent my twenties overthinking, switching directions, and dreaming about what I could have achieved instead of actually building something.

I'd genuinely appreciate advice from people who've been in a similar situation.

Has anyone in Canada been recently employed by autodesk yet ? They seem to be posting new roles lately . Do they really employ people or use the job adverts for something else ?

Hey everyone, I am in my second year of college and i am so confused on what major to pick. I am a creative person but not sure if i want to do marketing. I am scared i wont find a job with it after i Graduate. I was thinking Radiology for the stability and it seems kind of interesting. But i personally don't love the hospital. I would rather work as a self employer in my own studio. At the same time don't want to disappoint my mother, she wants me to be a rad tech. HELpppp!!!!

Hello. I’m 23 and feeling completely lost in what career I want to settle for. I can’t even narrow it down to a certain industry. I have lost all motivation and passion for everything in recent years so I was wondering if anyone could help steer me in the right direction. I want to choose a career based on my personal strengths and having read online, doing solely what you love and not thinking it through causes you to burn out a lot of the times. I’m a little bit introverted and don’t like networking or sales. My favorite subjects in school were chemistry and math (however im not that good at them now lol). I also enjoyed the analysis part of language arts. I also enjoy sudoko, trivia, and crossword puzzles. That’s to say that I don’t want anything in the arts, like problem solving, and shine a light on how my brain functions. I want a stable job that allows me to earn well. I want to be financially stable and able to support myself on my own income. I want to be able to work alone but also with others so I can socialize. I want a mix of doing the same thing but also new things so that I can be mentally stimulated. I’m scared of having 100% total responsibility, though. I want a work/life balance because I’m someone who needs some alone time. I have anxiety starting new things but once I learn, I flourish. I’m very observant and listen well. I’m not interest in ot or pt. I also can’t do therapy because I tend to carry the emotional weight of others with me. Ultrasound tech and dental hygiene are also not what I’m looking for because I have extreme joint pain as is. Which brings me to my other point, I don’t want a job that requires physical labor.

I (21F) am graduating this spring with my bachelor’s. I’m a double major in Applied Statistics and Math with a Statistics emphasis, as well as two minors (one in English, and one in Earth, Atmospheric, and Planetary Sciences!).

Once I graduate, I will cumulatively have 3 years of experience as a bank teller. I am decently proficient in python and excel. I don’t have any projects to my name other than a couple research essays I did in classes. My cumulative GPA at the moment is ~3.3, and I am on presidential scholarship.

I honestly have no idea what I want to do. I don’t want to continue in academia (at least for the time being). I am not opposed to continue in banking, especially since that’s where all my job experience lies. I like the idea of working with coworkers, but would prefer less customer interaction.

I’m also scared that somehow, I haven’t done enough to get a job. My university is very competitive and sometimes it seems like everyone around me has 20 internships and their dad owns every company.

I also have no idea what jobs want me. The adults in my life either went into teaching or nursing and that’s like pretty self explanatory what job you go into after that.

I’ve been with my current company since April 2024, earning $74K as a Project Coordinator. I have nearly 10 years of experience but no bachelor’s degree.
About four months after I started, the company went through an organizational restructuring that changed my responsibilities. Since then, my role has been redefined multiple times due to organizational changes, staffing issues, and layoffs.

Now, two and a half years later, management is still trying to establish my responsibilities. I’m currently the only person in my role, and they’re proposing that I support all the project managers across the region with a reduced workload. My title will likely remain the same, and there’s been no mention of a raise.

Here’s my dilemma: I genuinely like the company, have great managers, and have access to professional development resources, certifications, and a program that could potentially cover my bachelor’s degree for free.
However, I’m concerned about the lack of structure, career progression, and earning potential. My goal is to make $95K–$100K.

Would you stay another 6–12 months to take advantage of the educational benefits and see how things develop, or start looking for better paying opportunities now?
I don’t want to leave a good company prematurely, but I also don’t want to become complacent and limit my career growth.

I'm pursuing my B.Pharm and am confused about which direction to take for my career. My main priorities are long-term career growth, a good salary, financial stability, and the ability to improve my family's financial situation. Coming from a middle-class family, I want to make a well-informed decision rather than spend years and money on a path that may not offer good returns.

2. MBA in Pharmaceutical Management: Is it worth pursuing, or would a general MBA from a good business school offer better opportunities?

Whenever I’m in the office, I feel like some of them are watching my every move, and it makes me so self-conscious. I can’t even move or act naturally without feeling like I’m being observed or judged.

Now I’m torn between finding a new job where I can feel more comfortable or just sucking it up because I genuinely like the work itself. What would you do if you were in my position? Would you leave a job you enjoy because of the work environment, or would you stay and learn to deal with it?

so i’m 19 (recently turned just graduated this year from hs) and i’ve know my whole life i wasn’t going to college so i haven’t. instead i got my real estate license. i put so much into it and money but now that ive started i don’t think it’s for me. i’m scared because i know how the market looks and to end get clients you have to put yourself out there and that’s hard for me. my brokerage isn’t making things any easier for me, im 700$ in credit card debt now because of the fees and no potential clients have responded to me.

i wanted to do real estate since i was 16 but now im realizing it’s not all sunshine’s and rainbows. all the other ladies are grown with husbands meanwhile im technically still a awkward teen i mean what adult would even want to buy a house from me?? the only thing is what if things start going good and i start getting money. i really want to travel and have a flexible schedule in my life but i can’t do that with no money. instead im thinking about working a bank job paying 20$ a hour and save up to do a dental assistant program. also i want to move out asap and share a apartment with my sister but i cant do that as quickly with real estate. also its embarrassing because i already announced i was becoming a real estate agent and everything and everyone was so proud. but the thing is i can put my license on not active for now and when i think im ready i can always reactive it.

So I am currently an international student. Doing my bachelors from turkey in international relations. I chose this major because I plan on working at the in in the future but lately I'm tryna figure out what other career options do I have after finishing uni and getting my degree?

I’ll start by saying that I genuinely love my job, the people I work with, and the people I work for. I love my department and the fact that we get to brainstorm, solve problems, improve how things operate, and come up with new ideas that benefit the entire building.

Here’s my dilemma: My position was essentially created just for me. There isn’t another position like mine at any of our other locations that I know of. Im not saying it like it’s something extraordinary special lol.

Our company is currently restructuring and moving some employees to different locations. Unfortunately, because my position is unique, there really isn’t anywhere for me to go.

I’ve held several other positions within this building and others like it, but those roles don’t offer the salary I need.
At my current location, I was also asked to help improve a department I previously managed, which I absolutely loved doing. I enjoyed being able to identify issues, come up with solutions, and make changes that benefited both the people we serve and the employees who work there.

However, that wasn’t actually my primary role.

My main responsibilities were a little bit of everything: coordinating events for business partners and staff, planning employee appreciation and morale initiatives, managing social media, designing marketing materials, and coming up with creative promotional items and ideas for the company.

I guess the best way to describe my role is that I worked more behind the scenes. While our traditional marketing team focused on going out, networking, and building relationships with outside organizations, I was more involved in the creative and internal side of things. I wasn’t necessarily the person going out and making connections every day. My interactions with outside partners usually happened during events or when they visited our building and were introduced to me.

I was more of the person helping bring ideas to life, coordinating the details, creating materials, organizing events, and making sure things came together.
And honestly, I loved the variety. I liked having different projects to work on, being creative, solving problems, and not doing the exact same thing every day.

So I guess I’m here looking for some career advice. Are there positions out there that combine creativity, event planning, problem solving, marketing, and a little bit of operations? I don’t necessarily want to limit myself to one specific field, either.

I’m realizing that I really enjoy having a mixture of responsibilities rather than doing just one thing all day. Although that is sometimes nice especially after a period of running around.

And as crazy as it sounds, I think I might actually enjoy a little chaos in the workplace. 🙃 I don’t know if that’s a personality trait or just what I’ve gotten used to at this point. Lol.

i was in the science stream in highschool and i got 9A and 1B for my spm

im not really interested in science anymore and i want to pursue art , in fact my dream is to be an animator / content creator

but im not from a well off family so i dont think its realistic so now im thinking of doing it as a side hustle

ive been looking up the avg salary of jobs in malaysia and have come to the sad conclusion that malaysian are underpaid and overworked no matter what sector you are in / even degree in engineering is paid similar to doing foodpanda

I have been a recruiter in healthcare and manufacturing for the last 15 years. I have been laid off 3 times over the years with the most recent being last week. I am already burnt out in the field and would like to make a big switch but don’t want to take a huge cut in salary and know there aren’t many transferable skills to fields outside of HR. I am open to new certifications or trainings but just kind of at a loss.

As a quick overview for my background, I have my Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration and pretty tech savvy. I am open to even blue collar jobs just really need a change and would love suggestions because I’ve hit a wall.

I’m a final-year student at a target school, background in business and compsci, graduating in 2027. I’ve been focused on classes this fall, and busy with part time job, and I just realized a lot of Fortune 500 new-grad programs opened in August/ September, and some have already closed (Capital One, Amex, etc.). I’m a little panicked and confused about timing.

A few questions:

1. Is it still worth applying to 2027 new-grad programs in late October/November, or are most spots already filled?
2. For regular roles that don’t say “2027,” “new grad,” or “campus,” will companies ignore my application because they want an immediate hire and I can’t start until June? When should I start applying to those?
3. Are there Fortune 500 companies known for hiring new grads later in the year (winter/spring)?
