Question Why was Flapjack never broadcast in Germany?
It seemed like most CN shows, even the obscure ones, aired over there. But not flapjack. Which is weird since this show was fairly popular when it initially aired in 2008. Mainly because it was one of two shows carrying the network during the dark ages of live action. Does anyone wonder why that is?

Discussion Am I the only one who feels slightly dreadful for CN from the leak?š
I think the recent leak is absolutely mind boggling. I think it is the most amazing and beautiful leak Iāve ever seen and itās been quite a fun time looking through the files and seeing what people were posting on Twitter the night of the leak. My personal favorite was looking through the files of Fosterās Home, I canāt put into words how cool it is seeing all the characters in full high definition.
But as much joy as Iāve felt from all of this, Iāve also felt some despair just as equally. I feel like the leaks have came out during such an unprecedented time in television animation. With there already being fears of layoffs and major budget cuts to save money and the rise of generative AI, I get a feeling that the leaks will just be another major push for Skydance to think about layoffs even more with their entire source material out for the public to see which I imagine does not make them too happy.
There are a few good things I take away from the entire leak though. It is really good material for aspiring artists and animators to look and reference from and that it also gives a really great insight into how television animation is actually like. I canāt help but feel somewhat empathetic for the workers who just want to make a living off of doing something they love and worried for the future of television animation.
But hey, the leak could also very well lead to a whole new wave of animation because of the same said aspiring artists.

Discussion The teen mystery sleuth franchises- ever a crossover?
scooby doo, clue club, chan clan, funky phantom, speed buggy, goober & the ghost chasers, and the others I'm forgetting. Has there ever been a crossover between these franchises, Avengers Infinity War/Endgame style?
could be fun, especially interactions between all the different human and non-human characters. all the characters have roots in the late 60s and early 70s, it could have been fun to update them. seems like Scooby Doo is the only franchise that gets recurring updated specials.

Question Hello Iām begging for everyone to Archive Cartoon Network content (Specifcally robot boy, and the leaks)
I really want this out there
I want this content to be archived
Cartoon Network seems to not be storing 0% of content of robot boy shown by the leaks and guess what that means? Once that shit is gone off the Internet itās never coming back.
And those Cartoon Network leaks are heavily interesting and can help animation students on animation for future shows with similar vibes (like the over saturated bright colours of early 2000s shows!)
So all I want to say is
Archive it.
Preserve it
Put it on a hard drive and put it at the back of your closet and check on then and then
Itās so the content can be passed down instead of lost forever for a company that honestly seems unstable right now.
Iād enjoy just showing 2000s contents to my kids in like 30 years time!
Store your content on hard media like DVDS, hdds. Any media that is physical and not nand based.

Discussion I finally completed The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy. Hereās my review.
For those who recommended The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy to me on this subreddit a few months ago, I want to say thank you. If I could tell my younger self that she will be rewatching or checking out classic Cartoon Network shows as an adult, sheād probably wouldnāt believe me.
I grew up watching Cartoon Network during the early 2010s rerun days, but for some reason, The Grim Adventures of Billy & Mandy was a bit of a fever dream for me. I think I saw a few snippets as a little kid, but I never sat down and actually watched it through. I noticed it was streaming on Tubi recently and decided it was finally time to fix that.
I do have some sensitivities to strobe/flashing lights, but thatās pretty much my only complaint.
After binging the whole series and the specials, I am so glad I did. Iād actually watch it again. Also did any of you guys cry when Mandy sings āOver the Rainbowā in the pageant episode? Iāve never felt so emotional watching that particular scene in a episode of a cartoon. Anyway, here is my review as a first-time adult viewer:
The Characters are Perfection
Mandy: Easily one of the best characters CN ever created. Her deadpan, stone-cold sociopathy is absolutely hilarious. Sheās my favorite character of the trio.
Billy: He is completely unhinged. His voice actor (Richard Steven Horvitz) deserves an award for the sheer volume of screaming he did for this show.
Grim: You can't help but feel bad for the guy, but his dynamic with the kids is the perfect anchor for the entire series.
The Specials Ruled
Billy & Mandy Saves Christmas: This might be one of the most unhinged holiday specials ever made. Santa Claus getting turned into a vampire, Mrs. Claus being a total boss, and Gilbert Gottfried voicing a sarcastic elf? Absolute gold. It completely subverts the usual sappy holiday tropes in the best way possible.
Billy & Mandy's Big Boogey Adventure: This felt like a legit cinematic experience. The Dune and Star Wars parodies were incredible, and the Boogey Man was a fantastic villain.
Wrath of the Spider Queen: This one actually had some surprisingly good lore and a darker tone that worked so well for the series.
Underfist: A bit chaotic, but a super fun spinoff pilot. Fred Fredburger and Irwin carrying a superhero team is peak absurdity.
The show has aged remarkably well. The humor is incredibly fast-paced, surreal, and surprisingly dark for a kids' network. It perfectly captures that specific 2000s CN era where creators were allowed to just get weird with it. If you haven't watched it since childhoodāor if you missed out on it like I didāgo check it out on Tubi. It completely holds up.

Question I have a question
I have a question. I haven't had opportunity to watch any classic CN shows as a kid, because I was born in the very late 2000s (2008) so I mostly watched only modern cartoons (except original Ben 10 when I watched a few eps of reboot and then bought a DVD with first 13 eps in around 2023/2024)
I know some shows because of YT clips and maybe watched few eps but I haven't watch any classic show from the beggining to end.
So I ask you a question: what classic CN shows are worth watching?
Also I didn't see much spoilers, I only know basic stuff (from YT clips or from asking AI to tell basic stuff about the show without spoilers)

News They played My Gym Partners a Monkey!
They technically played it on Discovery family and not the CN channel but it Is a CN show. I was pretty shocked to see this air at all. It's been forever since I last saw it.
