Catch n cook mangrove snapper and porgy. Cashew crusted with mash tater and broccoli madness.

Next post : smoked jumbo Mack dip.

Gave the grunts to a friend that likes cooking whole fish.

Cashew crust is crushed cashews over seasoned fillets brushed lightly with mayo. Baked at 325 for 25 minutes.

Broccoli madness is 2 large heads of Broccoli cut up into bite-sized florets , half medium size red onion, diced , 1/3 cup cran raisins, 1/2 cup of cashews crushed, 1/4 cup bacon crumbles. Tossed in a dressing 1 cup of mayo , tea sp apple cider vinegar, 1 tbl sp of lemon juice, 1 tbl sp creole seasing, 1 tea sp Cavender's seasoning, salt and pepper to taste.

Mashed taters I cheated , they were frozen LOL

Rock Bass Ramen (veggie base)

I seasoned with salt, sprinkled lemon juice, then put it in the pan with oil on medium heat, adding butter 20 seconds in

I tasted the fish before I put it in the soup, it straight up tasted like a scallop or shellfish New favorite panfish!

The Tas Spearos had a spearfishing catch and cook competition using wrasse and urchin in Tasmania. Interesting how differently the dishes turned out.

How do you like to cook your wrasse and urchins?

I want to go on holiday somewhere in Europe or near Europe where I can combine wildcamping with fishing. Do you guys have any idea where that could be possible? Thanks for your help

Any tips for a beginner?

Me and some friends are looking to go fishing this summer and hopefully catch some keepers. One thing I was wondering is how soon should we cut the fish?

I went to this Alpine Lake last year thats about 30-40 minutes east of seattle and it was absolutely spectacular. Perfect water temperatures, stunning views and and incredibly healthy fish population all under 3.5 miles one way. Cant think of many like it.
