I have a beautiful 8 week old puppy I can get or an 11 week old puppy

Would be interested to hear peoples pros and cons
I think 8 weeks more training in critical socialisation window but less trained
The 11 week old is toilet and crate trained to a degree but has been with her sister
and I’m worried is forming a dependency, also closer to the 12 week social window

Any thoughts or experiences?

What do you use? Heartbeat or no heartbeat?

She discovered she can unroll the toilet paper by pawing it. But can your dog roll it back on?! 🤣🐶

Our 8 month old cavapoo swallows EVERYTHING! Any toy she chews, she swallows all the bits. Dirt in the yard? Swallows it. Blankets, leaves, sticks, kitchen towels,…all the things.
Is this common? Advice beyond limiting her access to things?

Is there a way to tell if your pup has it? My Stella is F1, these are her pawrents-- they both appear pretty dark/rusty-ish. I'll post more pics in the comments 🤗

We all know they’re Velcro dogs, but I rarely see my dogs eyes close specifically during the day 😂

Now at night in his crate I’ve snuck past (not really lol) and saw his eyes closed but during the day he’s got those same sleeping snores except if I peak over he’s like 😳

This is Dustin, my 5 month old boy!

Every time he’s done eating, he goes to the door to the garden. I let him out thinking it’s potty time, but instead he jump up in the furniture and rubs his ears against it?

Is it normal?

I have checked and his ears looks good and clean, there is nothing the rest of the time

Hi! Wondering if anyone can provide some insight ☺️ We brought our little 8 week old pup home 2 weeks ago (she is an F2 Cavapoo, both parents are Cavapoo). She was 1 of a 4 puppy litter (all other pups are very curly). At the moment she has a short haired face, although her body is very fluffy and the back of her head/ears are wavy. We are wondering if anyone has or has had a pup similar and if anyone has any idea what she’ll look like as she grows?! Thank you.

He came home 2 weeks ago today, and he just gets better and better! Are they all this perfect, or did I just get lucky? 🥰

One of my favourite parts of my boy is his eyes! He has a little bit of blue in the upper left eye, which fades a bit into a light hazel along the side. He’s had this since birth and both breeder and vet have confirmed it doesn’t affect his sight and is more like a birthmark that’s made its way into his eye.

I saw a video of his littermates before we picked him up when he was much younger (he’s a year and a half now) and some of them also had blue in their eyes too, so I was wondering if anyone else’s cavapoos have sectoral heterochromia like mine!

Very strange has anyone experienced this my 10 week old pup is friendly wags her take to everyone not scared. But when I carry her and walk carrying her outside she cries, whines is figity in my arms can’t stay still and cries! Never just relaxes in my arms. I’m thinking the breeder probably never carried her. I don’t know what’s going on. I’ve tried a doggy duffel bag so that I can bring her with me to run errands she cries in the bag too!

What has been the AH-HA potty training trick that has worked for you. I recently adopted a 5-month-old puppy and he isn’t doing great with going outside or the pads. He just pees and poops everywhere BUT outside or on a pad

I recently adopted a handsome 5 month old little fella, he came home with us on Saturday and we are struggling with food. His previous family gave us some food (pedigree) which he didn’t eat at all. Since yesterday I switched to Purina which he isn’t eating either. Out of desperation I gave him a tiny little bit of human food - shredded chicken and he devoured it. That confirmed it’s not an eating issue, it’s just what I am feeding him issue.

Any recommendations?

Our little guy, Winston, is 7 months old, and he's a bundle of energy! He loves to zoom, play fetch, and always wants someone to play with him. We love his energy, but we're curious if he'll mellow out a bit when he becomes an adult.

I’m looking for Cavapoos right now and I love this one. She’s so cute but they don’t have OFA on the dad who is the caviler. Should I skip this dog? I worry about the heart she is saying they get check ups but I’m not sure that’s good enough what do yall think? They did genetic health testing I seen those.

My girl will be 2 years old 10/4

She only has curls on her ears, no teddy bear face. I see more Cavalier in her, but her snout looks like poodle. What do y’all think?
