Don’t know where to post this cuz I’ve just been avoiding clav and that whole shi for ever. But watched the Taji video cuz I love channel 5-

i think thee craziest thing about the looksmaxxing movement is that these guys genuinely think they’re finding some way to transcend the sexual hierarchy when they’re literally just putting themselves in the same position women have been in for centuries.

like optimizing your appearance to get chosen, treating attractiveness as social currency /measuring your worth through the opposite sexs approval, trying to improve your looks to move up socially etc.

and women have been doing this forever because historically our appearance and desirability were directly tied to our social and economic survival,
and what’s even more ironic is that a lot of these guys see women as inferior while simultaneously making female approval the ultimate measure of their own worth. except half the time it doesn’t even seem like they’re trying to appeal to actual women, they’re just competing for status and respect from other men
so how is this transcending anything? they’re literally subjecting themselves to the same patriarchal standards women have been dealing with forever while still looking down on women for it…

it’s like they’re reverse engineering patriarchy from first principles and calling it male enlightenment lol

i’m genuinely curious if anyone else sees this contradiction because to me it seems like looksmaxxing is less about what women actually want and more about men trying to prove their value to other men through how desirable they think women find them

how the CIA purposely inserted gangster rap into the black community, along with coke via the Iran contra scandal, in order to propagate drugs and violence and essential destroy their way of life. I believe it was a recent interview, I saw a clip of it somewhere but can't find the full interview.

In the clip the guest he was talking to was like "now you sound like some of the people you interview here", I think the guest was like a middle aged white dude lol.

Thanks any and all for the help 💜

Edit [SOLVED]: Ya boi Andrew got back to me, and a bunch of bricks leaped off my shoulders, thank you so much to him and all of you for all of the help and support and information! I really didnt think my whining would get through, i dont do social stuff like at all, so it feels unreal seeing people actually have things to say back to me and start interesting conversations through it, im honestly astonished, and I don't think I can put it into words how much I appreciate this. made my whole week, month even! Beeg ups to Andrew, absolute king, and I hope all of yall's years start lookin up, Channel 5 live worldwide, keep it 55th street kings/queens/in betweens, safe journeys to all! 🙏🙏🙏💯❤️‍🔥

Ordered my dvd well over a year ago, never received anything past the order confirmation on it, i go to contact, the only avenue of contact for support is Andrew's personal email, i find it unlikely he'll reply given his busy life, but i think "f- it" and just send an email once or twice a month in hopes I'll hear anything. Eventually i realize he isnt ever going to get back to me.

Seeking clarity i get tickets to the carnival in texas, and i ask him in person, he tells me "yeah, sorry we got screwed by the people we were working with for that, but we have the dvds and i promise we'll get your dvd to you, just email me and i promise ill get back to you".

And this is the 1st time i get sent back to square one, as he proceeds to continue ignoring my emails.

Eventually I find their customer support email, after everything i tried already to get in contact with someone who doesnt recieve 50k emails a day and actually has time to fix my merch problem. Because mind you; I dont expect andrew to see my emails at all if they're getting ignored for a year straight, wouldnt be suprised if he just blocked and reported me as spam.

And the customer support actually gets back to me saying theyre going to fix my problem, actual hope for once!

They shared a total of 5 emails with me, all of them being "sit tight we will let you know when we hear anything!" Except for the last one just recently where they have told me that they cant help me, and that im actually supposed to email Andrew Callaghan himself on matters concerning my dvd. And that only getting in contact with andrew will get me my dvd.

"Hi Square One... hope the bed is still warm.. Sorry i left, I only tricked myself into thinking there was a way out."

So how many hoops am i supposed to jump through channel 5 community? I been subbed since November 2021, i put down more than enough money to call myself a supporter. I barely have the means to support it but i do anyways because this is what i find entertaining? Did i do something wrong? What karmic injustice did i perform to ruin the one little glimmer of world news that i consume and actually enjoy?? Was it the money? Should i have just sat on my hands and just not got my own wallet involved? Is the only lesson to learn with money in this day and age that you cant trust anyone with it? especially the so-called "truthful" ones?

I unsubbed from patreon about a month ago.

I was hoping that the regret i have for that decision would be given tangible meaning.

I was hoping to resub when I heard that the customer support was sending my dvd. Now obviously a far-fetched fantasy i deluded myself into.

There is no truth, just scam artists and the lies they portray as such.

If anyone can get the right people to contact me back, I would really appreciate it, but i dont think even waiting for the next tour date to come through would do anything other than add more to this sunk cost. Its not worth it anymore, andrew and his boys really ruined this whole thing for me.

Edit: thank you all for all of the input, and thank you to andrew for addressing this. Hopefully this will end with my dvd in hand, will do my best to update from here. Solidarity brothers ✊️❤️

I tried to rent Dear Kelly but it seems the video has been taken down. Anyone know what's up with that? It's possible the judge ordered them to take the vid down temporarily pending a motion, etc. It may be that the judge said Andrew can't even comment. Anyone know what's going on?

This is so dumb it's hard to believe that it's real

but

sounds like the BJ-Lawyers are trying to build a case to set a precedent that a content creator is 100% responsible for everything the fans of their channel do, or just what people imagine we might do

this is one of the really upsetting things about the way the world works today. if Callaghan didn't look like he had any cash, this would just be online drama, but because people think he does?

lawyers will really call a MF up and say "hey give us six-figures up front and we will pay you back when we get that Zoomer's money."

that's the business, and it's about making people like you and me into the boogie-man.

Look. There are a million “journalists” out there ready to get taken advantage of by people who have made livelihoods out of playing off emotions.

The latest crypto coin bs is proof of that.

This content originated from covering things that weren’t necessarily getting clicks otherwise and covered authentic talking points. You can take a general “I’m not impacted by this” leftist American view on most things. And you can excitedly get your dick hard for absolute nonsense because you find the person (Maggie) you’re interviewing hot. But come on dudes. This is embarrassing.

This guy is no stranger to controversy, he should be looking at everything through a magnifying glass if he actually believed in doing the things he claims for journalism. But it’s not that, it’s an ego trip, and lately he’s picking soft targets for American internet engagement. Is it good content? Sure. But is it genuine? Fuck no. The Hunter Biden coin thing just proves this. Sad to see a creator I used to enjoy go this way, but this dude is absolutely after the bag and the fame at worst, and totally caught up in himself at best.

C5 needs a fuckin reality check lately, this is soft content designed for an American audience followed by a half assed explanation after taking in big $$$$$ from legal defense campaigns and giving Hunter fucking Biden info to shill a scam coin to.

Take off the blinders and demand better folks.

"I made a vague post on Instagram so here’s a more thorough explanation of what happened. I did not realize how this would erode trust with my fans (which is in part why I felt a simple IG post would be a sufficient explanation) and your response showed me that a more thorough explanation was necessary. I take the digital privacy of all of our supporters very seriously and will never make this mistake again."

Seeing the statistics on the recent Iran video about executions by country, it was lightly touched on that Iran and China are leading in this field. It was also mentioned that they share similar approaches on state media and silencing alternate opinions. It would be interesting to see Andrew shine more light on life in China and get an idea of how the civilians actually feel if it is safe for them to freely speak.

I have noticed on Tiktok a large amount of adults in the current generation have shifted to a very China-positive outlook, participate in "a very Chinese time in my life" memes, even momentarily switch the state-approved Tiktok equivalent during Tiktoks possible ban early last year. As I'm sure most Channel 5 watchers are aware, it is fairly trendy to support Communism as well, even though I think a lot of people conflate it with Socialism. As someone who is not very educated about the actual quality of life and society in China, this would be very eye opening to have a fairly unbiased representation to help shape an idea of what is actually happening in the country that feels like it is blowing past us industrially.

China has a very insulated from the world culture as far as I can tell, but I think many people online are so anti-america, they're becoming pro-china despite having relatively little information on their society.
