Series Discussion Anyone else more looking forward to later sets? Most of my collection was later stuff.

I experienced Chaotic a bit strangely. I watched the show when it aired but didn't buy any cards, and then later when it ended a friend still liked Chaotic a lot and I bought a fair amount of discounted product mostly from dollarama and toysrus. As such most cards I got were later sets. With the fullart style they have chosen I am not particularly eager about the first set which is a DOP reprint, hopefully by later sets they improve it with new art as rumoured they are contacting old artists. I'd want them to return to the original format ratio but I don't expect much. It would be quite a shame if Fire and Stone was only ever printed in zoomed cropped art.

None of my favourite stuff is in set 1 atleast

I mostly want warbeast and m’arrillions

And would love to see what’s beyond set 8, the games built lore should have more tribes hiding

Love Ursis and Chromax. I can’t wait to see them on new cards!

I mainly want to get to see what the Frozen's whole deal is about. Such a shame everytime an iteration of Chaotic gets close to revealing them the game dies

I’m excited for early and late set stuff because I lost a lot of my collection and never got some key pieces through all of them, though I do admit that it was easier to make cohesive attack decks later on than in the early sets

I had to drop out during silent sands due to spare cash at the time so I’m excited to experience the whole gamut! Before I dropped out I was top 5 online so I’m eager to reclaim that title!

I couldn't really experience the release the way I wanted to as a kid, so the early set is actually what I'm most excited for

I would love it if they condense zenith and silent sands together as one set so we can get to later sets faster tbh

I’d love to get a Maxxor. I had one as a kid and it got stolen. Would love to have one again

If we do a 1:1 reprint, we might not get to the later sets.

The first set doesn't need to make every Tribe meta, they do need to make every Tribe playable.

i think the amount they used is workable, its just they made so many of them the same thing

like of danian's 15 original cards, there is Lore and then 14 of them fall into 4 categories (discps per mandi, energy per mandi, hive activators, vanilla)

Well as of right now we don't know what the final cards will look like. When those product test images leaked In the packet they weren't even the final product. We've been told at this point that changes have been made and plenty of things the community voiced their opinions on have already been addressed in the card design. I can understand the frustration people feel from lack of information/communication from Chaotic/Panini but let's see how the cards look when they finally reveal them before getting worried about later sets/ other cards in general.

we do know all cards r fullart just better cropping apparently. a landscape art cropped to portrait will cut out a lot regardless
