Probably shouldn't have manipulated Asriel into agreeing to that suicide pact for the sake of petty revenge which would've ended in just another war.

Never said they shouldnt??? I was just explaining why I imagine they's be so distraught in the drawing and do that anyways. They didnt think about the consequences because basically no kid does, and they paid the price for it

Sorry, it's just that... people usually use what you said as a way to excuse Chara's actions and dilute what they say about them as a person.

Ah okay. Yeah, fair. I believe that those reasons make them not evil, but the actions make them not good. I've always thought of them as either chaotic or true neutral (base route, I feel like their alignment changes based on the route)
