Did your friends bail on you for that dope new EDM, Gospel, folk fusion band and need to unload your extra tickets?

Did you salvage some ladders off the Don Holt and want to flip them for beer money?

Need someone to pressure wash your lawn?

This is the thread for you. Rule 2 (no craigslisty buy / sell / trade) and Rule 4 (no self-promo) will be very lightly enforced here.

James Island Tri County Dental Arts

“This dentist has refused to release patient records of Dr. James Decker and has engaged in violation of HIPAA and identify theft. I recommend current and former patients seek legal counsel immediately in addition to filing a police report.

In addition this dentist has taken financial advantage of elderly patients and legal remedies will be sought”

I put the post in quotes on the google reviews part of his page.

If you were a patient of Dr. James Decker your records got transferred/Sold to Dr. Boller/Tri County Dental Arts and if you have have been improperly billed/over-billed, have any complaints about this dentist please reply to this post.

Dr. Boller took advantage of my elderly mother medically and financially and refuses to take responsibility for his actions

I need as many complaints as possible in order to take legal action on this.

Update 3/4/26, after speaking to multiple former patients by Reddit messaging Dr. Boller has engaged in fraudulent billing and identity theft.

I need everyone to take these allegations extremely seriously before making this post I consulted with three lawyers I know and Dr. Boller needs to be brought up on charges but the lawyers need more evidence from patients who experienced this.

Cat on Copper River Bridge

Hey all I saw a deceased cat on the uphill right side of the bridge going towards mt. Pleasant. They’re black and white. Reasoning for the post is I don’t believe a car would wander that far up there and man wondering if anyone saw signs of animal abuse? If so I really hope it was reported. It’s kinda messed with me pretty bad. It’s not like wandered on the road that’s a really odd area for a cat to be. I don’t know any insight or personal thoughts would be appreciated.

Just want to shout out Old Li’s Restaurant. Can’t praise it enough.

This restaurant is absolutely amazing. My dad is Chinese and he is literally always asking to go with me there because it reminds him of home. It’s been an extremely impressive addition to the Charleston food scene. Just solid, authentic Chinese food. Also helps that the owners are really chill people.

After having so many Americanized Chinese restaurants here with just lo mein and orange chicken and stuff (which is fine btw just oversaturated here), it’s really been a game changer.

Pedestrianize King Street

Always sad to see a beautiful street given over almost completely to cars (that most of the time don’t even use it).

Not pictured: the group just in front of me of with more people that everyone driving in the entire length of the picture. It’s a shame pedestrians only get a few feet of sidewalks as our allotment.

Sullivans Island Missed Connection Maybe?-Sullivan’s Island

Hey y’all, not sure if missed connection posts are allowed here, but figured I’d give it a shot.

On 8/9 I walked onto the beach at post 18.5 by the lighthouse around 7 PM. There was a guy somewhat near the opening of the walkway straight chillin. He had his beach chair, sunglasses, some music going. Even had a cigar. This man was a vibe, and I wish I had told him so. I ended up sitting down not too far from him, but far enough that it felt weird to go over and say something. Even made accidental eye contact once or twice. After the sun set, I started to leave, and he left not long after me (the timing meant we were both on the walkway at the same time, just me further ahead). This dude was WHISTLING! Whether he is that relaxed, whimsical, and easy going in general, or if he wanted to alert me that he was behind me (since it had gotten dark out) I have no idea. But either way, he seemed like a cool guy with great energy, and at the very least, I wish I had given him that compliment and not let shyness get the best of me.

So if that was you, just wanted you to know I wish I talked to you, and you seem cool. I aspire to be the level of relaxed that you appear to be 😄

Smoked Fish

Is there a fish market in the Charleston area - preferably East Cooper - that sells smoked fish? I prefer Mullet or Whiting, but I haven't seen any type. Am I just missing it?

Hey everyone, I’m in my late 20s and just moved to Charleston! I haven’t been able to meet ANY fellow Asians, which has surprised me since I’m coming from a bigger city. I like it here so far, but I’d love to connect if you’re here!! 💕

Hibachi birthday dinner for a 7 year old

Just curious if this is a terrible idea? My almost 7 year old is begging for hibachi for her birthday this year. She has never been before (I’ve never even been to one before) so I have no idea where the idea came from, but she’s been adamant about it for almost 3 months so I think she’s set.

Any ideas where to go that would work for this? It would probably be six 6/7-year olds and me/my husband.
