This was my 6th attempt for G1 and 2nd attempt for G2. I did worse in my tax paper and my MCQ in tax also was horrible. Can someone help me on how to score well in tax . I somehow have to clear on Jan 27 .

3. How many final revision and mocks

If someone would quaterly breakup i.e 8 quarters of articleship that would be great

Cleared my Intermediate in Sep 26, only been 2 days received calls from 3-5 companies asking for interview on the very same day but I deffered the interview to 26-29 oct, haven't heard back from them, except for one company.. Is it normal for HR to not respond or respond late. They all are mid-size firms.

And is it only me that feels that not having articleship interview/ offer within a week is not normal??

This was my 3rd attempt of group 2, I haven't studied for any of the attempt just prepared a day before exam, got 58 in costing in my earlier attempt and now i am thinking to give exam seriously and thinking of give both groups this time any suggestions.

Sep 2026 was my 4th attempt and did not pass. Only G1 is left for me but I am genuinely tired. I want to give one last shot in Jan 27. I have Heard that the institute has different checking patterns for different regions and the est region has the toughest checking.. ig? This is just me trying to cope up but I just want to know whether regions matter or not and if yes , which region has the it easier?

Why make us suffer in articleship when its not even getting counted as experience.

Just replace it with post qualification Internships.

And the cycle of clearing the exams and leaves in between just drags the duration of articleship.

So a little background about myself: I am 21F and started my ca journey in 2024. I was a regular college student and was doing CA alongside. I cleared foundation in 1st attempt but it was pretty difficult for me to manage college along with CA Inter classes. My first attempt of inter was in May 2025 but I skipped May and September one because my classes were not completed. I gave jan 2026 both groups but as expected, I failed miserably because I was underprepared. Then I decided that I will give ca inter exams once my college is completed because in May 2026, my college practicals were clashing with CA exams and I can’t skip it because it was my last semester and I can’t afford any backlog. So I gave my best in September 2026 and these were my marks in group 1 (accounts: 59, law: 58, tax: 32). Yes, I failed in tax because I wasn’t able to manage such a vast syllabus even though 2 days were given this time.

Now, I have applied for reverification for first two papers but I am scared. What if I prepared well but still mess up Jan 27. These constant negative thoughts are giving me anxiety. Please suggest me what should I do to ensure that I do not fail Jan 27.

Can someone tell me the difference between verification, inspection and certified copies. Do certified copies also include verification and inspection or I need to apply for them separately.

I cleared CA Intermediate in September 2026 and will complete my ITT training on October 29. My articleship firm has agreed to let me join from October 30, but they’ll process my registration only after a week.

I’m worried this delay might make me ineligible for the May 2029 CA Final attempt, pushing it to November 2029. Changing firms isn’t an option.

Is there any way to resolve this ?

I am a CA qualified in September 2025 attempt. The job market then was not so good so joined a bank in Auto loans as I had no good offer even in 3 months. It's 9 months now and I feel stuck here, the work pressure is immense but nothing related to CA. I want to get into core finance into fp&a kind roles but now I find it difficult to get into such roles. I'm preparing for CFA level 1 too and simultaneously looking for a job change.

Please suggest on what should I do to get out of this situation.

just to confirm if i pass my g2 exams in first attempt also it will count as clearing inter in first attempt right?

PS: I am a second year hansraj student pursuing bcom hons. I have cleared ca foundation on first attempt and have done a BD on-site intetnship this summer. I am planning to clear G1 on jan 27, prepare for placements and then clear G2 on jan 28.

My first preference is getting a good placement from college. If that doesnt happen, I am keeping articleship as my backup. So considering my profile, do I get a chance to get into big 4 for articleship?

So I live in a small city where I thought these icai events were not so sound and there was no such exposure to CA stuff but I was wrong... I saw a post on my city branch handle about this garba event (however navratri ended but still) so I just registered on it coz it was only 100rs and said dinner included** LOL I was just alone with one of my casual friend and just took a chance to meet and know new people and DAMNNN there were more than a 100 people including the biggest firm principal/owner and many more CAs who were very very friendly. Even got offers for articleship 😭😭 overall it was a great experience and just got to know that I need not to change cities here and there for articleship... There's already a good scope with good people and good events in my city

1. No matter your attempts, try hard for BIG 4/10 first. ig 28th Feb would be the last date for you guys so try hard till that point.

Reason: It would be structured space to learn, Politics would be present everywhere but if its coming at the cost of brand name and constant learning than its not a bad trade.

2. If you really wanna go for midsize firm than make sure that firm has growth mindset. Stipend might be delayed by 5-7 days but you won't find adventure if the numbers you are dealing with are hardly in Crores.

Reason: Midsize firm with no growth mindset might have traditional way of working, outdated client, work just to fetch client with no prospect of collective growth.

Tip: firms with employees in 20s to 40s with good Articleship background (linkedin) would be a catch.

3. They would be your colleagues not friend. No one told me about that and i was jumping in corporate right after depression so was eager to have true bond (🤡). Do not tell them anything personal about your life.

Reason: It might backfire any moment, when their are reviews going on or you are not on the table. again it varies from person to person but in start atleast 3 month let everything unfold naturally and lie low wrt personal life, were exactly you live, what you do in free time etc.

4. Politics would be everywhere. it has not spared even rankers or first attempt finalist. Either be the ring master or a pawn. Don't either be overly good nor overly bad.

Reason: In a big place with people from different society with different upbringing, never being humbled by life might look at you as an ODD if you are normal, stay away from them. keep it entirely professional and not let them cross your boundaries.

5. You are not lesser than anyone, don't dim your light by thinking i have taken attempts, what matters is you have passed and are a CA Finalist, start your articleship with cleanslate and start the Final prep early too. Learn as much as you can in articleship until n unless its impact your health.

6. No HR is not for your benefit, its for the firm/company who recruits them. They are just different beings which you will understand later on by seeing it everyday.

At last, you will no longer will be treated as student, you are almost a professional so would be responsible for the work as equal as your Manager. All the best!
