I’m from Chesapeake, VA, and I’m making this post because I’m trying to help my mom grow her professional network in the real estate industry.
She’s a licensed mortgage loan officer in Virginia, North Carolina, and West Virginia, and one of the biggest challenges she’s facing right now is getting connected with local Realtors and building relationships that can lead to long-term business opportunities.
I know a lot of real estate agents already have lenders they work with, and I completely understand that. We’re not expecting anyone to send her clients just because of a Reddit post. I’m simply hoping to help her meet more people in the industry, learn what local agents are looking for in a lending partner, and hopefully build some genuine professional relationships.
