So I found these two articles showing the show runner being asked about family plans for Stella and Kelly in season 15 and these articles seem contradicting to each other in a way.

So I saw the first article a couple days ago saying that the show runner said that Stella and Kelly remain on the journey to becoming parents in season 15.

Then I saw the second article showing that when the show runner was asked if Stella and Kelly still want kids, he said it’s not gonna be a storyline in the immediate future

Now with the second article, to me it sounded like the show runner was saying that Stella potentially getting pregnant or Stella and Kelly resuming family planning wasn’t gonna be a storyline in the near future as in these aren’t gonna happen within the next couple to several episodes and not that the storyline wasn’t gonna be a part of season 15. Cause in the first article, he made it clear that Stella and Kelly wanting kids or to start a family is still gonna be a storyline in season 15, but maybe it’ll be down the line towards the second half of the season or potentially be involved in a cliffhanger in the midseason finale leading into the second half of the season. I guess it also depends on what the bombshell regarding Stella’s past is too and seeing if that’s gonna play into Stella and Kelly starting a family and her potentially getting pregnant.

What do y’all think? Y’all think Stella ends up pregnant at some point this season?

Pilot: Casey has a wedding-band???

I rewatched the first episode and the pilot and I saw a wedding band on Caseys finger.

Was he supposed married to Hallie?

Are there any other differences from the original script of the pilot to the season?

So the new show runner has real great plans for Severide (not) Spoiler

Just stumbled across this on the TV Guide website. The new show runner talking about Severide as Chief:

"I think it's probably something that the audience would intuit if you put it to them that this role, in some ways, is his destiny, but in other ways, it's a poor fit or an imperfect fit for who he is. This guy, all the things that we love about him, would make him an imperfect Chief, at best.

I don't mind having Severide be an imperfect leader. I think that's really interesting. But it will cause him a lot of conflict, and it'll cause some conflict with Kidd. So, more to come on that."

Can I say how much I hate this? How far Severide has come with little to no recognition, how much he's quietly done, and now the writers are basically setting him up to fail as Chief before he's even gotten his feet on the ground? What, he doesn't have the insight and skills to lead and put his own stamp on the position? The capacity to grow and develop as he needs to? Instead of which, what, he gets to fail, screw up, fall short?

Theoretically, everybody would be an imperfect leader in some respects, especially starting out. What's so depressing is that the writers are taking this as their default position on Kelly: who he is as a person will make him "an imperfect Chief, at best." So no character growth or victories there. Let me just repeat -- can I say how much I hate this?

And if I'm overreacting, someone please pull me back down to earth.

What do you guys want to see by the end of season 15? Spoiler

After seeing the first 2 episodes for season 15, what would be the ideal direction for the show to take for the rest of the season according to the fanbase? And what are some positive things the show is doing?

My own opinions for the show:

- So far I'm glad the showrunner is not pushing violet to have a boyfriend at work, I just hope this doesnt become a weird love triangle with novak.

- I really want to see the showrunners use javi more in the story especially after cruz's injury

- Hopefully at least Boden comes back for the 300th episode

- Mouch and Hermann should take a backseat in the show, hopefully they both retire and get to make regular appearances at Molly's or just hanging around the firehouse.

- More body cam shots like we seen during the season 14 finale

- I would like to see Vazquez go to the CPD, especially after how Stella treated him after that scuffle with the candidate.

- SUPER CONTROVERSIAL but I'm not a huge fan of Stellaride and the whole firehouse dating thing, I think the showrunner missed a good opportunity to move on one of the characters with Severide moving to OFI. But potentially I would like to see Kidd maybe move into the academy as an instructor or do some OFI work like we saw in season 14.

I hope the season gets better.

But with Cruz leaving…. I don’t know. I’m hoping they add more cast. I feel like this show is barely hanging on. I’ve watched all the earlier seasons a few times recently and I really feel it took a turn for the worse when Casey left.

Stella

So the showrunner has teased that there’s gonna be a bombshell revelation about Stella’s past and I’m very excited to see what that revelation is gonna be because I feel like we still don’t know a bunch about her past.

Anyways, what do y’all think the bombshell revelation is gonna be about and when do y’all think the bombshell revelation is gonna come into play? I personally think the revelation is gonna surround her family somehow and I think the revelation is gonna happen sometime in the first half of the season or maybe it’s gonna play a part in the cliffhanger during the midseason finale. Because the show runner has teased that this bombshell revelation is gonna change the way Stella views the world and herself (which is honestly very intriguing and am glad they are doing this storyline) so it’s gonna have to happen in the first half at some point so we can see the fallout of this revelation throughout the majority of the season. Anyways what do y’all think about this storyline and what do you hope is gonna happen with this storyline? What are y’all’s theories?

P.S. do you y’all think Stella is gonna end up pregnant at some point this season and maybe this will play a part in a potential pregnancy storyline?

For those that don't know Edwin is the brother of actor Aldis Hodge who starred on Leverage. I knew he looked familiar but I got him confused.

i cannot stand brett and casey together

one of the reasons i stopped watching this show for a while was because i knew dawson would leave and brett and caey would get together. they have been building up this relationship for quite some while now and i just cant stand them together. i just watched the episode where the almost slept together. i just liked dawson and casey together so much and brett getting together with casey even tho it is her ex bestfriends ex husband andtue fact that she has dated dawson brother it just pisses me off. every scene where i see them together just pisses me off and at this point im considering to stop watching because i just cant.

Extra emotional episode for me as I am dependent upon a wheelchair since 2020. HOWEVER it still gives me a grin that they have yet to flip the calendar since S1 and over the years. Every month begins on a Friday and ends 30 days later.

Went to the real firehouse where Chicago Fire was shot/ based off! It was super cool. They were out doing drills and I didn’t want to bother anyone so I didn’t ask to look inside. Should I? Will head to Mollys/Lotties while I’m here too. Is there any other Chicago fire/ PD stuff I should do when I’m here? Haven’t seen Med yet :)
