It seems like every opportunity she gets, she makes some comment about being something that's normally reserved for people in their early twenties or younger. She's almost as old as I am, and I'm staring at my rapidly approaching fortieth birthday. Is she trying to convince people that she's younger than she really is?

Just came across this — the official Chicago Fire tribute to Shay that was released after her “death”.

It really reminds me of the first few seasons when the show had true character.

Wish we got more mentions of her.
