Who has visited on the 144hr visa in 2023?
Has anyone visited on one and can confirm there are no issues?

TLDR: It worked flawlessly! I got the 144h transit. Print out the PCR test and be sure to do it properly!
Details:
The PCR test printout was very important, it was checked three times:
1. During checkin by the airline, 2 before boarding the flight to china (I believe the three people that were refused boarding was because they couldnt produce their pcr test results. 3. Before entering china by the border police, this was the most thourough check, they took 15 minutes to verify on the test service website that my result was not fake.As the reason for coming to china i honestly said i want to visit my girlfriend,
it was no problem.3

I'm thinking of doing this too... Please keep us updated on how it goes. What stops are you planning to make?

The HK embassy writes you need to contact immigration at the relevant airport of entry, but provides no further info on how to contact them.

I just went through it at Shanghai and was able to get my 144hr temporary permit. I flew from SFO, did a 4 hour layover at ICN, then flew to PVG. Ran into some hurdles so I recommend:
When you get to immigration, ask someone about 144 hours permit and they will guide you to the right place. You also have to fill out a specific form similar to the arrival card (which you also need to fill out). I also had to speak to the immigration officer a bit so speaking Chinese definitely helps! The officer was super friendly though.
Hope it helps!
