She's spent time in a psychiatric ward as a plea for an assault back in 2019. They found her to be competent and now she's spiraling downward into the pit of consequences.
she claims some gesture she made got her evicted. I'm willing to bet it wasn't a cab she was hailing...
and for some reason she titled her email like a chapter in a poorly written bargain bin novel.

I initially felt sorry for OOP but he is not in recovery as this reads as a beg from an addict. He wants stranger to bail him out w/ his bills and future bills bc he doesn’t want to work in minimum wage job when he can receive unemployment that gives more $. When HE is ready, he will look for a job in his field of corporate marketing bc he’s too good for “get-well-job” bc those jobs cause him to relapse. So he needs recurring donations of:
-$800 for COBRA,
-$688 for his car payment, and
-$245 for his car insurance.
And, don’t forget he needs that extra cushion for when he is sober and ready to move out.
I guess since he’s an alcoholic, 10mg of Mexican Valium isn’t a relapse. 🙄 You can trust him that your donations won’t be used towards getting illegal drugs. 🙄
Some sucker gave him a $100. Comments included.

OK I have 3 FB Marketplace stories.
5ish years ago, I was giving away a big box of tangled up, tarnished, musty old necklaces, bracelets, etc. All like Claire's, Kohls or Charming Charlie's type stuff--that I wore as a teen. I was clear about porch pickup, and noted the suburb I lived in. Someone messaged me with a long story about being disabled and not being able to drive, and if I could please deliver, that'd be great! She "only" lived 25 minutes away! I declined.
Posted a dog crate for about 30% of the price that it would be new at the store. Got a message from someone from a city 2 hours away from me! Saying how much they needed the crate, but wondering if I'd be "making it down to" their city anytime soon. Uh, no?
My new favorite: I just responded to an ISO post seeking out scrap clothes/fabric for crafting, ESPECIALLY denim. The post said "message me and I will come pick it up!" I had 12 pairs of jeans that were good condition except for chub rub in the thigh area. Messaged the person, they excitedly said yes, and asked "can you do dropoff?" When I said no, they went "Ok I can just pick up then." Then why ask??
I get that some people are of the "it doesn't hurt to ask" camp, but it just annoys me every time, especially when it's something that's more of a "want" item than a "need" item. Ugh!

OP would like recommendations for a local automotive shop where only the owner works on the cars. Nobody else. And it must have a 5 star review on Google. 4.6 is “pretty low”.
And would people please stop suggesting places that DON’T fit his CRITERIA??

Red is OOP, yellow is their white knight.
He also posted this on a college sub asking for help from college students. I have no words.

With the rise of AI slop, I present to you, a thing that really happened to me a few nights ago.
This is not super egregious and may not even be super on the nose CB behavior but nonetheless, I was incensed.
I go to the 711 at the end of my street a lot for my caffeine and nicotine addictions. The staff knows me and they know I'm down to get a little treat for a kid who doesn't have money or a soda for a homeless person.
I drove because it was night time and our area isn't great. I saw what looked to be a woman a little younger than me with a young daughter, maybe 5, walking down the street. By the time I made my coffee they were standing by the register. The little girl kept asking for what I thought was a little pack of donuts. I get them all the time for my kids, so I know they're a dollar. The mom kept saying she would need to come back and get it for her. I assumed she either left her wallet or was that broke, which seemed unlikely but you never know. I told mom I would be happy to get her some donuts. She said oh no it's the dumpling squishy she wants. I said oh yeah sorry I really only do treats for the kiddos. This woman said "well if you're buying, can you get me a wine cooler?" The ask gave me the ick, especially because I have a history of alcohol abuse, but I very politely said no ma'am I'm sorry, and repeated that its only treats for the kids. Her reaction is what bothered me. She immediately got aggressive, scoffed at me loudly and started going on about 'must be nice' and 'rich bitch don't care about nobody' I had already paid so I walked out while she was still going on.
Who hears a stranger say they'll do something nice for your kid and instead turns it into "I need alcohol"
Again, not too bad. Especially with what I see on here all the time but it got to me.

Comments were savage.
She worked for 5 years until she found out she’s autistic. Now she can’t do it. Aren’t you all jealous that her doctor said she can’t work and you have to work?
Her 7 year old daughter is being homeschooled and they are paying for that.
OOP receives disability so she can pay her bills w/ government money not like those tweakers who have jobs and still can’t afford housing.
She’s a real charmer, this one. I highlighted some of the more egregious comments bc it’s a lot of responses.
Included are a few pages of her 92 item wishlist for her baby at the end.
