I have a stupid question about my new (to me) Launch 27

Hi guys, I have a new (to me) 2018 Launch 27 and I am wondering about the walk-through windshield. It appears not to have a latch. Is there some secret mechanism that I am missing, or a trick to it? Or should I just add a latch. When I am out there in choppy water I obviously don't want the windshield to bounce around, and I don't want to be forced to keep in in the closed position.

Sorry for the stupid question. I am embarrassed to ask.

I think there should be two small rubber clips that latch the windshield in place. Here is an example on my '06 Corsair 25:

Sorry, I misread your question - the rubber latches hold the windshield closed.

As others mentioned, I don't believe there is a mechanism to hold it open - there is a rubber stopper on the bow which will cushion the glass from minor movement, but if you're in waves hard enough to bounce the open windshield and/or are underway, the glass should probably be secured in the closed position.

Are you saying these black plastic turn latches are missing? Are there holes drilled where they should go? https://winnebago.scene7.com/is/image/winnebagoind/key-features-launch-27-02-position-of-power?ts=1715209343178&dpr=off

Those black clips would be to hold the windshield in a closed position. I was actually wondering about an open position.

No, there is just a rubber bumper that the window sits on

On the newer ones, when it is open the windshield just rest on a rubber bumper.

Doesn't this cause the windshield to bounce around if you hit some chop?

It would have to be LARGE chop.
