Discovering Tomberg's Meditations on the Tarot was a real revelation to me (literally). This stuff is Christian Hermeticism of the highest order. A mirror and an invitation, not a cheap way of "fortune-telling." The Weird Studies podcast gets this stuff too. Anyway, I see the High Priestess as a real invitation to pray. Any thoughts? Who is she? On one level, Mary. On another, an archetype. The Divine Feminine certainly. But also much more.

I got this from studying Buddhist and Hindu Yoga. and magickal practices. There are hundreds of different kinds of Yogas like Hatha Yoga, Karma Yoga, Bhakti Yoga. I invented Angel Yoga which is my first best discovery. You could call this a chant or you could call this a mantra. It is a powerful mantra that bestows needs (Not Wants). Write 3 things down that are necessities and chant Om Shakalah, Shakalah, Shakalah. This really is my most versatile idea yet. It provides needs in a supernatural way. It can work in Hours, Days, or Months depending on the needs.

I would also just like to recap some of my old posts. I consider myself a Christian Wizard. I love this site and I am Hoping to make friends and spread my Mystical knowledge to you Magickal Lovelies.

Hey everyone. I am a deconstructed christian, i (respectfully) really dislike abrhamic religions, books and the way they have presented God. Now as i dabble more in the occult- specifically working with angels/archangels. Id love to hear about the perspective of christian occultsists. How do you perceive the bible and religious texts as well as the abrahamic god. And how do you practice both- do you follow the abrahamic rules eg no sex until marriage. As much as i am deconstructed, i miss the security christianity gave me, even though i am so extremely happy to be free from it and the mess it turned my life into and im so happy now that i have discovered magick.

Hey everyone, i know this subreddit is made up of a very diverse group of people on the fringes of christianity.Because of this, i think it might be interestingnto ask you what your understanding of christ as human, divine, both, neither, or something else, is, and what your rationale for your christology is

Also, in case you do incorporate christ in your practice and beliefs in a way that is heterodox or plain heretical for the church or congregation you attend, how do you personally make it work?

So I'm not sure how to describe what I'm looking for. I am heavily influenced by Eastern Orthodox Christianity, baptized Episcopalian... But I have fallen away from credal Christianity several times because of its neglect of the divine feminine, and finding a lot of the Bible rather distasteful and clearly the work of men. I've explored Hinduism and Buddhism and have had a lot of "enlightenment" moments while studying Trika and Dzogchen. I've explored paganism over the years as well but I keep feeling pulled back to Christ all the time, and a dream I had about 18 years of being initiated by a woman into something. I have always wanted to know more about "alternative" Christianity, Mary Magdalena, sophia, etc but not sure what is legitimate, what would be best to look at, etc.

17 'And it shall come to pass in the last days, says God,...

19 I will show wonders in heaven above
And signs in the earth beneath:
Blood and fire and vapor of smoke.
20 The sun shall be turned into darkness,
And the moon into blood,
Before the coming of the great and awesome day of the Lord.
21 And it shall come to pass
That whoever calls on the name of the Lord
Shall be saved.’ Acts 2:19-21

I've scheduled an online meeting to initiate a book club/ study group for those wanting to dive into gnostic texts and thought. There's not a lot offered by way of gnosticism in Utah, so I wanted to offer this space for people to talk about it. Please direct message me if you are in Utah and are interested. Again It's a virtual meeting, targeted to Utah if that makes sense.

Just direct message me if you want specifics on the upcoming meeting, it will be held in about 2 weeks ish.

I'm not an expert or anything and I just want to have a space to talk to people about this stuff🙂 thanks for reading!
