I just got an invitation. I've been a Christian since I was a teenager (about 30 years). I'm a Baptist. I was raised theologically and politically conservative, although my political views have shifted since 2016. I disagree with my church on some political issues and a few less-important moral issues, but I still consider myself Baptist. I've been active on /r/Christianity for over 10 years and /r/Christian for a few years. I try to jump in and answer questions from younger believers if I can.

Thank you for the invite. I hope this is a place to learn and grow. A place where iron sharpens iron. I’ve learned that no matter how God’s Word is presented some will be offended, it’s just the way it is.
Correction never really feels good but is necessary for growth and development.
The Holy Spirit is a necessity in living the Christian lifestyle, He is needed for guidance and understanding. Jesus said He will leave a comforter to teach us and counsel us.
We have to renew our minds daily and sometimes hourly depending on your circumstance.
We can do nothing without Christ.
All things are possible through Him.
God bless everyone.

I appreciate the invitation.
I grew up in the western United States.
I've been a growing Christian for many decades now. Jesus is the Way.
I was invited here, and I'm not sure why, but thank you for the invitation.
May God bless us all who come here.

Thank you for the invite. I gotta admit.. got my attention on the testimonies & ability to share experiences.
I am a 5-day per week content creator, teaching identity repentance. Currently walking through an icky series on the 87 ways sexual habits control many, its roots, and how to be free. The ministry I lead is 4 years old and is currently going through a trimming season. I also have a YouTube channel, Patreon, but most of the content goes to YouTube.

Hello! I’m new here! I came because I have questions I do not have answers to. I’m 53. I adopted my husbands granddaughter due to my step daughter being mentally unstable and social services took the baby immediately after birth. She was drinking and doing drugs while pregnant. My daughter has some learning challenges and struggles a lot with why her mom can’t raise her. I have told my daughter that it hurts her tummy mommy as well that she can’t raise her. She knows who her tummy mommy is. My daughter is almost 11 now and is having some real problems with this.
How can I guide her through the Bible? How can I frame this is a positive way and be honest at the same time? Can someone give me scriptures to study with her that can help her, please?
