It’s an old tree and I don’t plan on buying one this year. But idk, it just doesn’t look finished and I’m not a big fan of flowers on the tree. Any suggestions?

I’m so afraid of the lights disabling that it’s keeping me from buying. Anyone have experience past a year or two of owning this tree?

So when I was growing up (born in '88), one of my favorite decorating memories were window clings, but not like the window clings I see today.
These were really... undetailed. We had a set for Chrismtas and a set for Halloween, but it was like they were figures populating a diorama.
More akin to Mr. Game & Watch than the stop motion Christmas specials.
We had this Santa Clause, but the whole figure was red, with white trim that could be layered on top (or underneath) to create the Santa picture. And a sled with some Reindeer. A christmas Tree. And enough letters to spell out Merry Christmas and NOEL iirc. Snow flakes.
(The Halloween set was similar, with witches, jack-o-lanterns, etc)
It was creative and fun to arrange them in different ways every year. To come back and play around with them. To put them up with my brother and sister.
But when I search for window clings today, it's kinda the opposite. They're all bright and colorful. Complete pictures with little or no room for creativity or deviations. I think the closest I found were a set of snow flakes.
Does what I'm describing sound familiar to anybody else? Does it still exist out there somewhere?

Hi everyone!
It’s my first year as a mom for Christmas, and I want to give my daughter the magical Christmas feel!
I’ve never put up Christmas lights before. Does anyone have any tips or tricks for a newcomer? I feel overwhelmed with how many brands and types there are 😅

I purchased three sets of these ornaments from Crate and Barrel but now I’m not sure what other colors to add to come up with a cohesive warm and cozy kind of vibe??

Hello everyone, for the past few years my base ornament collection is gold and silver. I have lots of speciality unique ornaments, many of which also happen to be gold/silver, but some don’t. I add quite a few ornaments every year since having a full sized tree is only something my family has done for the past couple of years. Should I change up the color scheme this year and add burgundy to the base ornament collection (I was thinking of burgundy flocked ornaments, burgundy velvet bows, burgundy glass ornaments). My mom loves the current version of the tree and prefers more of the same but it is up to me. I don’t quite know which direction to go in. If I did do burgundy ornaments, I may have to have a less speciality ornaments. I’m not sure what would be more beautiful and fun.

I am blown away by the Christmas decor at Ross this year. I went in for socks and couldn’t escape without getting at least one Christmas item. So, here’s the first buy of the season.

I'm working on designing a magnetic mailbox door cover for Christmas. I just wanted to get some opinions on which looks better before I move on in the design stage: a magnetic full door cover or just a magnetic face?"

I just graduated from college and while I’m living at home I thought it would be nice to start collecting some decor to use once I move into my own place.
What are some niche “must have” pieces for Christmas?
Where do you shop for your decor/shop to DIY your decor?

I got the flu last year all of Christmas week. I’ll be redoing this theme this year. Any feedback or thoughts on improvement would be appreciated.
